The relation between price/quality is bad. The only thing good is the location because it's in the historical part of the city. Bear in mind that it don't have breakfast and the bathrooms are collective. In order to be able to see TV, I had to fix the antenna connection and it was the oportunity to see that the TV...

If you're looking for a social hostel with loads of common areas, this is not the hostel for you. That being said, if you're looking for a hostel with clean rooms, nice staff and an amazing location where the social aspect is right outside your door, you should definitely stay here. It's a short walk from the beach and located...

Great location and fast wifi. That's all I can really say about its strengths. Beds were uncomfortable, rooms poorly ventilated and muggy, stairs not up to code. Paid over €100 a night for a shared bathroom (all of them disgusting, smelling of mold and constantly wet floors) and no services. Reception couldn't even print our airline boarding passes or direct...

Great location, in the middle of the old town, near by the sea. A clean pension, warm and friendly staff and comfort bed. What else you can want? The price was low, only 21e/night. If you're on the way "Camino del Norte" this might be your stop😉

Stayed here with a friend and had a very nice stay. Great location, in the middle of the old town, within a couple of minutes from the sea front! Helpful staff and very clean rooms and bathrooms! Recommend greatly for friends travelling and couples. Has a backpackers feel to it, with a friendly shared kitchen and washing facilities.

We only spent one night, 140 euros!!! expensive, small, no bathroom, no window!!, it wasn´t clean (sand on the "clean sheets"!!), I woke up with a horrible headache due to the lack of ventilation in the room since there was no window.

You probably can't get a better location in San Sebastian - this hotel is smack bang in the heart of the old town, so you'll never be far from the food and drink scene. I stayed in the guesthouse style accommodation that is the next street over from its dormitory accommodation. It was very clean and comfortable - the only...

One of the 2 shutters was broken so couldn't get much privacy from others apartments or the sun light in the morning, Wifi average in the room! Didn't get a chance to use kitchen so unsure of what it is like. Beds very comfy and Pillow...

We stayed in late May so it was still quiet then a we payed about 10 euros each for a private dorm for the 3 of us. The location is great. The staff were really lovely. The reception/kitchen/seating area is tiny. We managed fine but I could imagine it would get difficult in peak season. Overall we had a very...

“If you're worried about the noise level there is an interior room to the dorms that does not have a window. It seemed to be quieter. Also, if Pension Goiko is full you might ask about their other properties. I'm sure they are maintained as well as this one.”

“Higher floor for less noise, but lower floor if the elevator isn't working. Further from the main entry door or bathrooms for quiet as well.”

“The 3 person room on the second floor for accommodation has a view of essentially the "airing cupboard". It was basically a square at the centre of the building with a greenhouse styled roof that the hostel and residents used to dry their washing.”
