A local friend recommended to book this hotel, the location is great, next to the beach, a bit far away from the old town, rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is right. Parking spots are limited, but the hotel manages this with the Spanish flexibility,

We had a very nice stay in Hotel La Galeria. Despite having concerns that is was at the other end of the bay from the "old Town" we found the walk (approx 25 minutes with our 4 year old) very pleasant and almost necessary after partaking in all the wonderful food in San Sebastian. The fact that we managed to...

The best thing about la Galeria is the location, in my opinion. As others have noted, Ondarreta beach is on the other end of the promenade from the old city. We preferred this, as it is quieter on this side. The walk into the old town is very nice, and takes about 15 minutes, but the hotel rents out bikes...

This hotel is located close to the sea front but the wrong end for the old part of San Sebastian (where all the restaurants, bars, shops are located). As others have noted there is limited parking at the front of the hotel. You have to leave your car keys with the (unfriendly) front of house staff. We returned on a...

We booked this hotel purely for the location as we decided a month before to visit San Sebastian, so there were no other reasonably priced hotels left on the seafront. We didn't expect much (other than a sea front hotel). I think the price we paid (£142 per night) was a bit much though. We had a sea view room...

La Galería was a fabulous find. We were so pleased with our room, which had a beautiful ocean view, and was on the top floor. The bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were quite spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel.

Unfortunately we had to stay here recently for 4 nights as all else was booked. The location was great, parking onsite only for around 8 to 10cars was OK. Light breakfast available until 10am but after that, nothing including no tea or coffee facilities. Our room was tiny and you had minimal toiletry items and no hair conditioner. The bed...

In fact these three starts are mostly for the view. We were in room 403, it was looking at the beach. I fell in love with this city at first sight just after this view from the hotel room. However, I did not like the bathroom, it was not very useful and water was too cold or too hot. Moreover,...

Awesome views of the beautiful beach. Nice big rooms. There was construction going on in front of the hotel when we were there which was part of the view but thats if you look down. Look up and all you will see is beautiful beach. Would definitely go back. It's a bit of a walk into the main part of...

We stayed for a couple of nights at this cozy hotel and we had a great experience. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, and it had a beautiful view of the bay. If we were to come back to lovely San Sebastian we would definitely try to get again a room there.
