This small boutique hotel hidden away in the old town of Palma is amazing! If you are looking for a hotel that exudes character at every corner this is it! Roof top terrace overlooking the Cathedral is a must whilst sipping a drink from the bar. The Spa is free to use anytime. And as for the people who manage this hotel…they deserve a gold star for service and personality! Don’t miss it!!
We had the pleasure of staying at Santa Clara Hotel for 7 nights at the beginning of September for our Honeymoon. To say we looked after is an understatement! The staff are amazing. Helpful, accommodating, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The roof top is the most beautiful space with views that are breath-taking. The room was delightful, spacious, clean, cool and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal and in easy walking access to everything you could need to visit and enjoy. This has now become a destination we intend to visit once a year to relive some magical memories. Once again, I would like to thank the staff for their care and help.
Lovely rooms and friendly reception staff. Location in the old town is very tricky for car access but great for walking to the cathedral (around 10 mins). The hotel had a lovely boutique feel and should have been great, but we felt a few things could have been better. Breakfast was ok, the made-to-order options were nice, breakfast staff weren’t particularly friendly. The cleaning staff were friendly, but the cleaning wasn’t great; cups were left unwashed etc. There is a really lovely Turkish bath and sauna in the basement, which is free to use - just need to book at reception so they can make sure it’s ready for you.
This was my second visit to Santa Clara and this time I took my sister. I love the hotel. Good location. Very clean, tidy and modern but at the same time quirky with beautiful internal stone walls. Staff are welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was brilliant too. All in all cannot fault the hotel and will definitely return. My sister loved it too.
We stayed here one night, at the end of august. The lobby is really nicely decorated and the people welcoming you are nice and friendly. Beware if you are coming by car though, as the hotel is situated in the center where apparently only locals are allowed to go by car and park. The room is spacious, nicely decorated and clean, with air conditioning. Our room was close to the staircase, which mean we did hear a bit of noise but nothing too loud, it was still okay and we still slept well. The spa is included in the price and quite nice, you have a shower, a jacuzzi, heating chairs, a sauna and a Turkish bath. The only thing is, we didn’t know how to make the jets from the jacuzzi last more than a minute, and for the shower, the way the water was flowing was weird and you had to wait a long time to shower in it. The breakfast was okay, we arrived at 10:15, and already they had run out of pain au chocolat. The eggs were way over cooked and I wish you had the option to cook them yourself. The highlight of this hotel, is definitely the rooftop, you don’t want to miss it. We had our diner there and it was just so fantastic. Otherall, it’s still a really good hotel, the price is decent for the quality. Thank you!…
Santa Clara Urban Hotel and Spa was a wonderful hotel in a quiet residential cul de sac in the vibrant city of Palma. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a junior suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet included made to order eggs, together with the usual offerings including fresh fruit and pastries. The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful with restaurant reservations etc. I hope we get the chance to stay here again. The only downside for me is that there is no outdoor area for relaxation on the property.
Excellent location, close to the old town centre, very clean, and the room had a really special design. Breakfast was also very good. Good wi-fi, too. The only thing you need to be careful about is the car access which is restricted, the hotel being on a very narrow street. On request, they can arrange a parking place at 4-5 minutes walking distance, for an extra charge
The hotel is gorgeous, the room was great, the scenery is nice and staff is friendly and helpful. We got some complamentary CAVA after check-in ... wonderful. We even got a good price on the stay. But we had two issues with the place. We could hear every word of our neighbours call at 4.20 am, before an early flight. We could even hear the person our neighbour was talking to very clearly. The sewers kept smelling from the shower after it was left alone for a few hours. I don't blame the hotel too much, it might be a temporary issue due to few guests in the hotel. But the smell was quite bad and lowers the grader for this stay. Once they fix this issue, it is a lovely hotel.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of August. Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. We asked for fresh milk for our room as we are tea drinkers and they not only provided it but thoughtfully waited until we were back after a day out to send it up so it was super fresh! The staff also helped us out with directions for a pick up from a taxi - excellent service. The breakfasts were gorgeous and delicious with everything you could want from pastries to full cooked. Beautiful roof terrace too overlooking the old convent! Can’t recommend enough!
We booked this hotel for our 21st wedding anniversary, belatedly from our 20th last year due to Covid. I am so pleased we found this place it was phenomenal. The decor, the stone walls and the wooden beams make it so attractive and pretty. Perfect for the occasion. It was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and the bedding and towels were also immaculately clean. It was spacious with plenty of seating. We didn’t use the spa, but it looked lovely. When we arrived they had upgraded us to a junior suite because it was my birthday and our wedding anniversary. They also left as a miniature champagne. I think the check-in staff was probably slightly frustrated at my attempt at Spanish LOL but spoke perfect English and explained everything we needed to know. The hotel was in a fantastic central location in the old town. When we returned in the evening Trixie was at reception and as we told her it was our anniversary she got us two drinks and we sat in the bar on the roof. Very pretty. She was absolutely fantastic and a credit to the hotel. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends without hesitation it was amazing. Thank you Santa Clara.…
