The staff in this lovely hotel are simply fabulous, helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and airy with a lovely balcony over looking the pool area. I wasn't too keen on the Shower being the dividing wall, but it works...and makes the whole room bright and light. Great storage and hanging space, safe and free mini bar.The 3 Swimming pools, the gym, sauna and steam room make for a relaxing or uplifting stay. I liked the fact that it wasn't dead central and was a 20 min walk to town, as you saw all the residential areas and how life is for the residents of this fabulous City. Breakfast is amazing! So much choice! The Sea Bass for dinner is a real treat! The only negative I can think of is the company that laid the flooring in the bedroom left gaps between some, but not all the planks.!! I will definitely return.…
If there were 6 stars for service the staff here would get it. Breakfast food selection was brilliant didn't stay for evening meal but it looked every bit as nice as breakfast. Pool, gym, etc were great. The magic re-filling mini bar is a wonderful treat and the beers are spot on after a long day on your feet. Receptionist was soo helpful when we had a problem with electric bikes from a local hire company, can't thank her enough. Its our first time in a Melia hotel and will definitely have these on the top of our list in the future. Have recommended this hotel to our friends.
We are a family of four, our children are 6 and 9 and shared the sofa bed in our room very comfortably. Some rooms don’t have balconies and some of the balconies open out onto the pool area so you’d need to check that when booking. The food is very good. The sushi is SO good. We found the breakfast ok but quite punchy price wise and you can only have the buffet option which was slightly annoying as we are light eaters, so didn’t represent value for us. There are plenty of little cafes within a ten minute walk which did good breakfasts more suited to our family. Also a big supermarket. We walked into Palma most days, and took us 35 mins. The indoor pool is open 10-6 and there is a sauna and steam room. Pool towels are provided. Gym is good too, well equipped. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the beds were v comfy with good quality linens. The free mini bar (alcohol free) is also a nice touch. One star removed because there is a construction site opposite and immediately next door so our stay wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been due to construction noise. Not the hotels fault but affected our stay so thought worth a mention. The hotel is smart and modern and is great value for money. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return. The construction will be done in a month or two so make sure you ask for a pool view room if booking in the mean time. …
This hotel is nice but there are a few places it really needs to improve upon. We let them know prior to our arrival that we’d got engaged and asked for a bottle of champagne on arrival and received a reply saying we’d have to email someone else about it. When we got to our room it was fairly basic with no amenities kit and no tea or coffee facilities. It was also two single beds pushed together with separate duvets etc - not ideal for an engagement celebration trip. The changing rooms by the pool were out of order during our stay and the steam room didn’t work either. The lifts felt like a death trap and constantly dropped. The bar was nice with pleasant staff but we were unable to put drinks charges on the room so had to pay each time which was annoying. The minibar is free but ours had four drinks all non-alcoholic so I think it depends what tier of room you’re in - regardless, the option to pay for a beer in our room would have been nice. It’s well located and mostly pretty clean and zen and the pools are nice so it wasn’t a disaster - just not very special at all. …
I arrived late on Sunday night and the hotel was quiet which is to my liking. Beautiful and fresh interior which makes you feel young and vibrant. The room was a swim up solarium which is by the outdoor pool, which is magnificent and the right cooled temperature which was perfect for me. All in all a great stay
Stayed here for 3 days at end of September. A lovely modern hotel outside of Central Palma, about 8-10 Euros in a taxi into town, and about 20-25 euros (15 minutes) from the airport. Our room was road facing which was a shame, so we missed out on a balcony and pool view, but it was large with two single beds for my friend and I. A well stocked non alcoholic mini bar (free), but lacking in tea and coffee, perhaps it just hadn't been stocked. We didn't want to spend any time in our room as no sun or balcony. The pool is beautiful, modern, clean but poolside doesn't get sun all day, in September it was gone by 4pm, and you had to follow it round the pool during the day due to it being in the centre of the hotel. If it had been busy there would have been a fight for sitting in the sun! The pool was freezing so almost certainly not heated, and hadn't had the sun on it enough to warm the water, but we did manage a very quick dip. The bar drinks were expensive (24 euros for two alcoholic drinks and 3.50euros for a can of coke!), but we had lunch one day at the pool and were pleasantly surprised that for 16 euros we had a delicious and very large lunch. We discovered some lovely authentic and very reasonably priced tapas places within walking distance of the hotel so didn't feel the need to go into Palma each night. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here and would return but would pay for a pool side balcony for sure (although there would be no guarantee of sun!)…
Gorgeous hotel, everything was just perfect. Great room with everything you need. Cool restaurant, bar and rooftop bar/restaurant. Extensive and tasty breakfast buffet - well worth the money. Cool pool vibes with good music and great aesthetic. The pool bar was closed when we were there - maybe it closes from October, which was a little strange as the hotel was busy and everyone was trekking up and down to the lobby bar, but overall not really a bother. The actual pool doesn’t get sun all day, but up a few steps is another sun bathing area that had more sun. Main plus was the fantastic staff - every single one was kind, friendly and helpful. Only slight downside was the location - no decent restaurants and bars in the local area and Palma was a bit too far to walk in the heat or in heels, but not too bad in the morning even cooler. However a taxi into the centre was cheap (about 6 euro). Would absolutely recommend this gem of a hotel for a city break with a holiday vibe.…
We spent 3 nights here in early October. We arrived too early to check in, but they have a luggage area you can use to drop your bags and go exploring. Check in staff were friendly. Thanks to Ana for making my birthday special. We had a room on the 11th floor, the views were amazing. Beds were very comfortable and linen was good quality. The rooms were cleaned every day. Only minor downside is paint work is a little grubby on walls on doors. I’m guessing it is the end of a very busy summer season though. Mini bar and coffee refilled everyday. Breakfast is good, but busy. Fresh omelette bar and a good selection of pastries and fruit. Drinks in the hotel bar were reasonable. The pool itself is beautiful, the pool area is fairly small. The pool bar was opened on our first day but then closed for winter, so a little trek to the main bar for drinks. There is also an indoor pool for winter months. The location is actually great, close to amazing restaurants in Santa Catalina, walking distance to the main city/ cathedral area. It’s around €8 in a taxi there. Waking distance to the marina and Bellver Castle. I would stay again if visiting Palma.…
Spent three nights here in this lovely hotel. Decor is fresh, clean and modern. Beds are huge. Rooms have everything you need. Staff are very friendly, and helpful. Didn't get time to use either of the pools but noted that they are both cleaned every day.
Got a really Fantastic stay there . Friendly staff going far & beyond to help you further, excellent house keeping & wonderful breakfast buffet ( where they also make a spanish omelette on scracth) . on the 11th floor also great view over the skyline of Palma . if i Have to give 1 minus it's the lack of airco in the hallway.
