Such a lovely hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful. The food is great, I don’t understand the bad reviews! There is a free hotel shuttle bus to Palmanova (a beautiful beach, near Magaluf but not as crazy!) which takes about 15 minutes. Playa de Cala Mayor (a beautiful but crowded beach) is a 10 minute walk away, and it has some steep steps which isn’t accessible. The pools in the hotel are huge, there are 3. There is a small shallow pool for kids, and a 0.80m whirlpool and a bigger deeper pool. There are plenty of sun beds. Entertainment is great for both kids and adults, and there is a DJ for some great music all day and evening! Food and drinks from the bar are nice. Our rooms were actually very clean and were cleaner regularly. We are so happy from our stay and it is a holiday to remember. I would recommend!! …
When we first arrived the hotel looked lovely both from the outside & in. The reception staff were friendly, check-in efficient & the sun was shining. Happy days!! The rooms were clean, modern & big enough for 2. They’d also put our 3 rooms close to each other on the same corridor- not all hotels do. The food in the bars & restaurants appeared great for the first couple of days. What could go wrong? The first morning I the hotel, woke up with a sore throat and a headache; as did 3 others in my party of 6. We put it down to the travelling. We ignored it & enjoyed the beginning of our holiday. However, each day this got worse & worse. I had to take pain relief all day but it wouldn’t get rid of a severe headache., I started to feel sick all the time so on an all-inclusive holiday I was living off water & dry bread. I couldn’t face anything else. Speaking to someone at the pool, they said that they felt the same & blamed the aircon. I googled this & sure enough I had all the symptoms of air conditioning sickness. This is caused by bacteria in unclean & poorly maintained air conditioning systems. That night I turned the aircon off but had a terrible night sleep as it was far too hot. I spoke to the TUI rep the next day (day 4 of a 7 day holiday). She told me it won’t be the aircon but advised me to sleep with the windows open & aircon off & she’d report it to reception. I have no idea if she did but no maintenance person visited our room at any time. The room was too hot without aircon & as our room overlooked the entrance, we were woken every hour by buses arriving through the night. I did begin to feel a little better after 2 nights without aircon. I went to complain to the TUI Rep but we never saw one again for the rest of the holiday. Reception said they’d pass it on. Nothing gets done. I complained to TUI via the app. & was told they’d sort it within 2 hours. They did nothing, so I’d message them again & again & again. For 3 days they told me it would be sorted in 2 hours. TUI did absolutely nothing. The holiday thankfully came to an end. We’d had to to the aircon back on because the rooms were unbearable without it. It was a pleasure to leave. I felt shocking. On the plus side, it was the first time I’d lost half a stone on an all-inclusive holiday!! The hotel did nothing to help, neither did TUI. I assume that any offer to help would be some sort of admission that there was a problem. TUI messaged me after the holiday to apologise for not helping and offered me compensation. I tried ringing the phone number for TUI for holiday aftercare. This is basically a recorded message with no hope of getting through to anyone. I have filled in several complaints forms & not had a single response from TUI. It is now over 2 months since we got home & are still waiting for a reply. Very, very poor TUI & Hotel Belvedere. My advice- there are loads of hotels & other holiday companies. Don’t use TUI and certainly don’t stay in Hotel Belvedere.…
Safe, comfortable, affordable, relaxing hotel stay. I felt safe on my own. Food was fresh and varied and really good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Organised day tours pick you up and drop you off at hotel.
I would like to say - thank you for that amazing moments! Breakfast - incredible tasty (even we eats only halal - and there was still so much other food for us) Clean, reception always helpful and kind, service flexible and friendly. What I can say mir guys? See you again ♥️
My boyfriend booked an all inclusive holiday through jet2 as a surprise for my 22nd birthday for 5 nights with this hotel. When we arrived very tried at 11:40pm we were greeted by a lovely women she told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. Any questions we had they answered, like restaurants near by and taxis ect. I can’t fault this hotel really it was beautiful and we had a great view from our hotel! This was the first time I had ever done all inclusive as I am a fussy eater but honestly they always had something I would eat every time! Also the hotel provides a coach to the beach which is brilliant! It saved us money on taxis and we only had to pay to see Palma. I would love to come back here in the future I had the best time. Thank you so much!
Really lovely hotel in a great location. We were all inclusive which was really good value and the food was very nice with lots of variety. The pool was clean and nice to swim in and the weather was lovely, it was 25-30°c during the day and sunny so felt like the middle of summer. There was a really good bus service into the middle of Palma and you could walk to the beach which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable and all the staff very helpful and friendly.
We had deviously stayed at this hotel and was very impressed so for my birthday we returned again and was still impressed with service we received room very clean and staff brilliant and friendly food was amazing hot and cold variety throughout the day Daytime entertainment were brilliant and also evening entertainment great both internal staff and external acts coming really good
I had one of my best holidays ever at the Belvedere. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food was really good and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The free bus to Palma Nova was regular and always on time. The only downfall, for me, was that it was in a hilly area. My fault for not reviewing it properly as I have mobility problems. I wish I had been able to visit the local beach but the route was too steep. Did not in anyway effect what was otherwise a wonderful, restful holiday. I enjoyed the beach at Palma Nova anyway. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Firstly, the good, we had a great stay, we've stayed at the Belvedere many times before at this time of year, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are plentiful and all amazing, considerably its the end of the season they still have smiles on their faces. The rooms are a little small but modernly decorated, the bathroom is a good size and has a fabulous walk in shower. The entertainment team work tirelessly to make the day and evenings fun, Davide especially is very friendly and talks to all the guests but they are not pushy. Now the bad, we booked a 6 night stay, on day 4 the hotel hosted a 5 day Tango festival, dancers from all over the world descended into the hotel and took over the hotel. The reception area became a market, filled with Tango clothes, shoes, hats and ticket sellers, it was previously a lovely quiet area to have a wind down before the restaurant opened. It became busy, noisy and very smelly with people trying shoes on it smelt of sweaty feet, it was very off putting. The entertainment day and night came to a sudden end without any warning or notification. Hotel guests like us who were not involved were not informed of the Tango festival and on speaking to some of the staff, nor were they. We booked through Easyjet holidays, they did not inform us of this massive change to our holiday either, we felt we were no longer considered. The main bar inside the hotel which was entered through reception was closed off to us, they moved all the tables and chairs to edge of room and had dance lessons in there. This just left the outside bar, had the weather been bad, there wouldn't have been anywhere to go in the evening. Our last day became very awkward, we were all on sunbeds on the grassed area by the pool, by 4pm, the area infront of the outside stage was closed off by chairs and turned into a huge dance floor, we felt awkward on our sunbeds with dancers all dressed up taking to the floor with very loud tango music and this was also the main walkway to the bar and snack bar so we had to walk the longer other way around the pool to get a drink. I feel no consideration was given the existing guests and we felt like we were not welcomed anymore. The restaurant opening time was changed on our last night, again no notification, it was put back half an hour as the dancers were still by the pool area dancing which meant we had to rush our last meal before being picked up for the airport. All in all, our last 2 days became, awkward, embarrassing and we felt unappreciated by the hotel and by Easyjet for not informing us this huge festival was taking place, had we known I would have reconsidered our stay. This hotel, entertainment team and staff have been the reason for our return year after year, the end of our holiday was spoilt due to this festival taking over the hotel and the way we were treated has put us off returning which is a real shame. …
Absolutely wonderful 5 day holiday here! Food was amazing and varied to suit all tastes. It was very fresh and plentiful. All Inclusive drinks were good. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms are tastefully decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The hotel is a great location for the nearby beach which is lovely. I can imagine it gets very busy in the summer months but this time (October), was definitely an ideal time to visit. There’s a very handy bus stop nearby which is ideal to take you to the city of Palma - an absolute must to visit. This was my first visit but won’t be my last.
