My girlfriend and i stayed here for a weekend and we were both overwhelmed by its rustic charm and friendly atmosphere. Betancuria itself is beautiful and to stay in such a charming place was fantastic. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the village has a few very nice places to eat and drink but please not that everywhere closes...

The room we had was large enough, but there was a trunk and large chest of drawers in the room full of linen belonging to the hotel which may have been clean or dirty and therefore all that space was unusable for us. In the period of our stay (3 days) there was no attempt to clean and tidy the...

This hotel is a typical Canarian house with a more typical Canarian Patio. It is highly recommended if you want to appreciate the nature around you. I really enjoyed the position and the fact that it was VERY far from all the touristic places. Betancuria it's a lovely place, maybe too quiet for too many people. The position is great...

We had a car and visited different places on the island every day, and this place worked great for us. Clean, simple and tranquil, perfect to relax. We appreciated the traditional architecture and the surroundings, too. Friendly staff, simple but satisfying breakfast. The only thing we'd improve is the quality of coffee served in the mornings, but it was such...

We stayed here in February and unfortunately it was cold and wet even the locals were complaining! The rooms were large with ensuite bathrooms great water pressure from the shower, Jaun was a good host and the guy who ran the bar was brilliant at feeding us in the evenings even with our poor Spanish and his 1/2 dozen words...

I traveled from Toronto via Frankfurt, Madrid, Tenerife to Betancuria taking over 27 hours! I landed in Betancuria exhausted yet thrilled when my cousin Diane met me at the airport. She and her daughter, Arminda (of Princess Arminda) were facilitating a Women's Only BALANCE Retreat at the oldest building on the islands. A 600year old villa that has been restored...

This place is definitely different from anywhere to stay in Fuerteventura, and in a good way. It is situated in a renovated traditional Canary house in the middle of the gorgeous tiny town of Betancuria, the island's former capital. Juan, who runs the place, is most helpful and speaks very good English. He had sort of a hard time when...

Went here today for tapas and a cold beer. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the beautiful, rustic decor. We didn't expect it to be so nice. We were also welcomed by the man working in the Bar and taking orders for food and drinks. He was very polite and welcomed us with a kind smile. We had goats...

“We stayed in Tahona - one single bed, one three-quarter size. Low lighting, very dark walls, interesting decorative details. Good ensuite. Beds, old iron bedstead type made up with sheets and blankets - didn't look promising, but had comfortable mattresses. We had a look inside the 'Duplex' room, which seemed lighter and more modern, more wood than stone (as in the Tahona) - but wouldn't appeal to everyone - had a single bed at ground level, then wooden steps up to what looked like a three-quarter size bed, with a sort of low chair/recliner at the side. Ensuite area was at ground level. The other room we peeped into briefly had one full-size double bed, same dark decorative stone walls as the Tahona. The rooms don't have room for chairs/table, but you could probably take in a few chairs from the courtyard area if you wish.”
