Very friendly staff, good location and value for the cheap price. The street is pretty loud, so it wasn't possible to leave the window open at night, but there's a fan in the room to keep the air moving.

I booked this hotel for the price and location. In that weekend (Las Palmas marathon) all the hotels were full except expensive ones. This room had a shower but no toilet. It was not a problem for me because I think I was the only woman who used that common toilet (it was very clean and free always!) and it... More

We booked this hostel because of the good reviews but I have to say that nine days in Kasa was definitely enough. It vas nice to cook and eat in the roof terrace and I liked it for the cheap price (17e/night/private room for 2) but in our room there were no windows, except one but there was no view... More

We booked the Kasa for the location. The staff were disinterested the room was not clean even though the location on the roof was excellent. The kitchen equipment was poor nothing matched and was cheapest possible. Improvement required then it could be a nice accommodation. Our expectations have been raised after our resent visit to Japan. Where we could not... More

An unnerving entrance as you have to approach the plain door and buzz for reception. A climb up a steep staircase rules out wheelchairs till you arrive at reception - a little booth with a window like a inauspicious betting shop. Nonetheless this was during the highlight nights of the Las Palmas De Gran Canaria Carnaval and everywhere was packed... More

Clean and modern, and the staff are nice enough with decent amenities and wifi. However the walls are extremely thin and the streets outside very noisy. Plus, the way the hostel is laid out makes it very loud and there are lots of unnecessary beeping noises whenever people open doors or enter the building. My room stank so bad that... More

You can tell Gran Canaria is a mass tourism destination and they don't need to make much of an effort to get guests into their accommodation. This hostel was cheap and one doesn't expect much but it could be made up nicer. The location is great, right within the main area of the new area of Las Palmas (5km away... More

just checked in, got an tiny windowless room with neon lamps and unstable bed. Shower, fan and bed are hardly cleaned at all. The walls are in different shades of yellow, poorly renovated with grey cement around the door. A Customer complaint with the manager about the situation didnt result in any improvement.

Booked here because of the great reviews but I have to say in my opinion it didn't live up to them. Girl was nice enough on check-in, had to sign a form agreeing to terms and conditions which I've never done in a hostel before. Booked a single room which I was very glad of, the walls were very thin... More

“Some rooms are on the internal side of the building, and as such don't have external windows (only windows above the door that let light in from the hallway). This is either a positive (no noise from the streets) or a negative (no natural light) - depends on what you prefer. We had a room on the street side, and we had a small balcony overlooking Calle del General Vives, which we really enjoyed (apart from the occasional noise!). Ours was room no 7.”
