The positives : Very friendly staff, good location. Fifth floor is nice where they have pool and bar. Not filthy as other floors. The negatives :The biggest put off : carpet are very dirty and need an immediate change, the room needs renovation and the dinner and breakfast are just not edible.

Fairly modern hotel situated close the the best beach on the island, the shower wasn't so good as it would go from hot to cold randomly and not much water came out but other than that we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable, only one of the 3 people working behind reception spoke English

Stayed here for 4 nights in January and found it to be very reasonably priced. Hotel itself is not in the best of areas, but never felt intimidated by anyone hanging around the hotel. That said, hotel is only a couple of minutes to the beautiful beach. Pool area and bar looked very nice, only downside I found was that...

We stayed at Astoria 5 nights in two different stays in February 2017. The hotel is very close to Playa Las Canteras, 10 min walk from Santa Catalina, 10 min taxi from San Telmo / Vegueta. Rooms are fine with good quality/price ratio, but not all the rooms are in the same maintenance status (avoid 1st floor)

OK rooms, but beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Not very much help in complaining although we stayed for 8 nights. Breakfast was a awsome affair. Shortage of Food, cutlery, coffe, plates was the normal occurence, not the exception. This quite large hotel has only two small elevators, and With one out of order for most of our stay, it...

This is value for money - a good location near the Las Canteras beach and city. Outside of the hotel looks rather tired. We had a good and helpful welcome at a very busy reception. We're disappointed that we had a first floor room ( 108 ) as we had read ( in trip advisor) it could be noisy at...

I stayed at the Astoria Hotel for seven nights recently on a half board basis. The hotel rooms are clean and quiet and the hotel has the advantage of a rooftop swimming, gym and comfortable seating areas. Breakfast was a bit of a 'free for all' but was kept well stocked.Evening meal was a little like school dinners with frozen or...

Stayed here for 2 weeks over the Christmas/New Year 2016/17. We stayed on a b&b holiday, when we went for breakfast most of the food was cold. On the one occasion we had evening meal that was same. The beds were very hard and not at all comfy, staff had limited English, which made it hard to be understood. The...

I was bit worried after all these negative comments here, but I can't really say anything negative about this Hotel really. Whole area seems to be taken by Germans so no many Irish pubs around, karaoke etc so area nice and quiet. Makes massive change compare to all the places I have been to before Las Palmas! No drunk heads,...
