We stayed here as part of a walking holiday organised by a holiday company. The hotel is located on the main road running through Mocanal (but this is El Hierro so there is limited traffic and noise was not a problem). The rooms and bathrooms are quite large but the furnishings are a little sparse and the rooms a little...

nice hotel with view on the sea. Even though the hotel is simply decorated, the atmosphere was quite good, and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, with a wide selection of items. Very convenient location to visit the island. The restaurant on the other side of the road had one of the best Mojo we had on the island,...

Our first impression was a little unfavourable as there was no one at reception when we arrived and no means to call anyone. When someone finally turned up there was no apology or acknowledgement that we had been waiting for 20 minutes. We watched this happen to someone else on another day so this is clearly an issue. The T.V....

Stayed here for two nights on a walking holiday. Situated at an altitude of some 600 metres we found it decidedly chilly! Reception very good and wifi in reception area worked well. Rooms a bit dated and not exceptionally clean but ok for a couple of nights. Large terrace but too cold to use the sun loungers provided, no sun...

Whilst on a walking holiday we stayed for one night in January 2014. The reception was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. We had wonderful views from our balcony. One could stay for longer, but we would advise having your own transport so you can choose where to eat as the hotel does not provide food in the low...

Great location, fantastic view, nice rooms, good mattresses - but: no water in the pool, the pool area deserted, no facilities there, breakfast NOT in this stylish hotel, but in a terrible "back-room" of a place across the street, breakfast itself awful (except for the coffee), nothing fresh, everything wrapped in plastic ,,, IT COULD BE SO NICE IF PEOPLE...

Do not let anything which follows discourage you from visiting this island. The viewpoints, seascapes, pinewoods and overall natural beauty make it fully worthy of its Unesco biosphere reserve award. The island is clean and crisp with excellent roads. It is small enough to get anywhere during a day. We have now stayed on all of the Canary Islands, during...

The best thing of the hotel is its location, very close to Valverde, The Capital city of the island (5min by car). There are small shops in the surroundings, but not restaurants for lunch, the restaurant of the hotel is opened to breakfast and dinner, but not for lunch (at least at the beginining of june). The breakfast was simple, but...

Room is a bit small, but nice and clean. No room-safe. There is an empty fridge, so you need to do you own liquid shopping. Bed is quite narrow, and my wife found it not comfortable. Matter of taste I think, I had no problems with it. Breakfast and diner are in the bar/restaurant across the street. Breakfast is fine,...

If you arrive by flight you can catch a taxi from the airport to the hotel which is approx. 10 min. and a 15EUR drive- the island has 1 taxicompany . You can take a bus to Valverde and then change to Mocanal- but remember there are very limited departures everyday. Booking a transfer throgh a2b is a waiste of...
