A real delight. Hidden away in an agricultural area in the unspoilt North of the island. We stayed in junior suite 112 which was set alone next to the hotel-good space ,quality and very quiet.Excellent pool and jacuzzi.Meals were better than average /good.Very helpful staff. You will need a car (lots to see) and the slope down from the car park... More

The road to the hotel is ugly and goes through some agri-industries. Arriving there creates a good surprise: it is a nice villa overlooking a furious ocean, with the constant noise of the heavy waves. The main con's of the hotel are: - small rooms, with little comfort and no wifi (only at the remote front desk) - a location... More

Somewhat alarmed by the approach which was a rough road through almost industrial, breeze block lined banana plantations with padlocked gates, we arrived at Hotel Costa Salada to find it right by Atlantic waves crashing onto the rocks. The hotel reception is on the top level where cars are parked. Luggage is then transported to the lower level, where the... More

We had a junior suite in the annexe, with the use of a large and very comfortable and well-lit garden room in the evenings, and a pretty garden overlooking the coast - the view to the west at sunset is magical. The evening meals are excellent and great value for money, taken in the delightful dining room down at the... More

Loved this place. We stayed in the family unit; spotlessly clean, full of character (a small, converted traditional house) with its own little garden and pool. The restaurant meal was real home cooking, super value; fresh bread/wine included. There is a lovely small resort just a 10 minute drive away (Baja I think) which had great fish restaurants. We only... More

We all like to escape the madding crowds from time to time and this hotel lets you do this. No wifi access. Incessant crash of the waves breaking on the shore beneath your room. Normal life quickly feels a long way away. We used it as a base to explore the Anaga mountains and to complete the best walk on... More

This is a traditional small country hotel right on the rocky coastline. You are made to feel very welcome at this hotel and we had a lovely stay here. It was very windy and we were unable to enjoy our sea facing balcony. However there were other sheltered areas where we could get some sun. The food was good country... More

If you want to relax in a scenic place with an ocean view and a pool, this is where to go. As a young couple, we spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the 3-course dinners (at 15€ including drinks a more than fair price for delicious food). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that you need... More

wonderful staff, breathtaking location, so beautiful - the villa isn't very nice - quite a way from the hotel - but they know that and kindly suggested we change to a little suite by the pool near the rocks. real shame about the food though - breakfast is ok - shop bought heated up tortilla, ham, cheese, bread, but could... Hidden away from mass tourism this is a little gem. The hotel lays separated from the world on top of the coastal rocks. Basic but good rooms and lovely people! You need a car for this hotel. From here you can explore the whole island.
