Excellent location! But not very clean at all, rooms weren't too comfortable and the AC was absolutely awful in the heat of summer so very unimpressed with that They tried to fix it a few times but that didn't work

This could be the best location for a tourist. Just steps away from the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla and some more. The room was cleaned everyday and internet inside the room is decent. The room beside the street is a bit noisy though.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it is what it is it's a cheap hostel, nice clean the staff are very helpful and friendly. Fantastic location on the Gothic Quarter and a good base for traveling. The 5 rooms we had all had there own en suite and there lots of bathrooms on the floors.

Rooms very small with no proper well lit windows . Day staff nice and helpfull evening staff not very friendly at all. It isery handy for Ramblas but if you can afford something better go for it.We only stayed one night to stay over night in Barcelona one night was enough at this one.

The location is fantastic in the centre of Las Rambla and close to the Boqueria (market).Check in is at the ridiculous time of 5.00pm. The rooms are very basic, small and dingy with just a wash basin. The beds are terrible and should have been thrown away years ago. The price was well over the top for what you get...

Considering how much we spent on our three night stay, we were hoping for something a little better. It was more expensive than a 4 star hotel we stayed at in Madrid! It was dark, old and not very comfortable. The bed had one long pillow rather than two for the bed which made it difficult to share with my...

1. Bed is not good - I could feel the bed springs and could not get comfortable, despite putting a blanket under the sheet. The beds need either a good topper pad or to be replaced.. 2. It is quiet at night. 3. The air con is excellent. 4. Excellent position and I felt safe. 5. Staff took a while...

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
