But not very clean at all, rooms weren't too comfortable and the AC was absolutely awful in the heat of summer so very unimpressed with that

This could be the best location for a tourist. Just steps away from the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla and some more. The room was cleaned everyday and internet inside the room is decent. The room beside the street is a bit noisy though.
