I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff at Acta CITY47. My family and I received amazing customer service. A big thank you to Pier for all his time and assistance with my queries. It was truly an awesome trip. The hotel is situated in a lovely location, close to the metro Sants Estacio and Barcelona Sants train station, with a Lidl supermarket and play ground opposite. Our room was spectacular, beautiful fresh linen and towels. We are planning another trip back next year.

Enjoyed the hotel, bed was comfortable , shower was great , service was fantastic, house keeping was nice. Maybe rooms were a bit too little but wouldn’t expect anything better. Great location , metro close by to reach all local attractions. The restaurant was in refurb at that time but not an issue as there are plenty of restaurants on the High street. If I was to go back to Barcelona I would use this hotel again.

Very smart and impressive reception area. We had chosen a Miniroom and so it was minimal in size as were the the quantity of electrical points. However the bedroom was well presented with a good bathroom. Lovely Verbena scented bath products.

We arrived for a long weekend break booked through Easyjet Holidays. Very pleasant staff but when we asked what time breakfast was we were met with a look of surprise and told the restaurant was being renovated. After saying we had paid for it we were offered a voucher to go somewhere up the road. The room was very tired. The ironing room was always locked even after asking and the first floor seating area was closed off. We did have a fridge with two small bottles of water on arrival. After that there was nothing. No kettle or drink making facilities at all anywhere in the hotel. We should have been advised by either Easyjet or the hotel that there were eating or drinking facilities as advertised and offered another hotel. No excuse for such bad service. I would not normally leave a negative review but this really was unacceptable.…

I would not recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, I read some positive reviews before I booked and they were misleading. Hotel is not a 4 *. Everything is very old, bathroom is crying for renovation. TV is small and is in the corner, so one cannot watch it for a long time. Morning starts with some terrible noise, I believe it is renovation. No coffee or tea in the room. Refrigerator is not cooling. We found only one nice restaurant around, the rest are some places for snack. Stuff is friendly. Sightseeing are easily reachable from this location by public transport, but this area is not a city center, just the opposite. In the evening there is nothing to do around. I am very upset I booked this hotel for our trip.

Came for a long weekend with my other half. It was a lovely hotel in a great location for the metro as well as small convenience shops. There was daily room cleans which we weren’t expecting but was a lovely added bonus. Pierre on the desk gave us some lovely recommendations for somewhere for tapas and would greet us every evening when seeing him. Would definitely recommend staying here not too central but also not too far out from anything.

Highly recommend! My husband, adult daughter recently stayed at the ActaCity47 Hotel in Barcelona. It is a beautiful and comfortable hotel only 2 blocks from the Barcelona-Sants high-speed train station and is surrounded by wonderful bars and restaurants. It is within walking distance to all major sites- Arc de Triomf, LaSagradia Familia, Parc Guell, Rambla del Raval, Picasso Museum, etc.

What a great little hotel. Booked here to stay from Friday-Monday. We were visiting Barcelona to go to watch a game at Camp Nou. This hotel is ideally located, approx 15 minutes walk from hotel. Santa station 5-10 minutes walk away and hotel is easy to find from there. Very clean, rooms have all you need. We only need somewhere to lay our heads so this was perfect.

Stayed at this hotel 4 nights for sightseeing and to watch Barcelona play....excellent location , nice tidy hotel ...reception staff excellent ...Gladys, Raphael and Martha! Extremely helpful with everything...thank you! One thing I recommend is not to book breakfast here....stone cold bacon, stone cold scrambled eggs...the rest was very limited and the toaster was pathetic....heating one side only and taking at least 6 cycles!... staff here not so helpful.. The bar at the hotel was expensive...7 euros for a pint of lager....bars nearby charging 3 euros less. So .. avoid breakfast and the bar and you will thoroughly enjoy this hotel...Close to all transport options....less than 10 mins to train station!
