We would definitely stay here again (apartment 12 on their website). Really good location, close to loads of fab restaurants and bars, and well-positioned for all the sights - most within easy walking distance. Administration, check-in and check-out all very easy; taxi arranged by them for our departure. Apartment was spotless, all essentials were provided. If you do want to... More

A tasteful, spacious modern apartment, with a receptionist located in the building to happily assist with any advice/help required. The apartment is maintained to a high standard, and although it is centrally located, it is amazingly quiet. The lift to our floor came in useful after long enjoyable days exploring Barcelona. The little extras like shower gel, soap, hair dryer... More

We enjoyed our autumn holliday in Barcelona very much because of the beautiful appartment we used. We had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a big kitchen with everything you possibly need in it. Also there was a washing machine in the biggest bathroom. Everything was very clean. It was our second visit and also the second time we booked BCNGotic... More

Lovely spacious apartment with everything you need including a bath tub. The location is fabulous with great tapa bars, museums, juice bars and beaches all within walking distance. Elevator available too for those unable to use stairs. Highly recommend and very reasonable rates.

This was our second stay at BCNGotic! Our first time was in 2015, but we only stayed there for 3 nights in a second story apartment, which was lovely and overlooked the bustling street of Argenteria. When we went back this year in September 2016, we made sure to say there for 11 nights. It's the perfect location to explore... More

I'm a little afraid to review this place, because I don't want the word to get out so that the next time I'm in Barcelona I am left without an apartment to stay in! ha! We have been to Europe before, but this trip we were a little strapped for cash. Hotels in Barcelona are outrageous. Upwards of $1800 for... More

My favorite area in Barcelona is Born, really central and over the years it has been developing to be a hotspot of very good restaurants and bars, as well as a place to be a starting point to walk the City or to go to the beach in 15 minutes. Bacelonetta with it's charm and the broad beaches is only... More

We stayed in the top floor apartment for six nights and it quickly became our home away from home. First of all, Mar made sure that all of our questions were answered before we arrived. She was very responsive and was there when we did arrive. The introduction to the apartment was quick, efficient and informative. The information packet is... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
