Stayed here over new year and enjoyed being in Barceloneta, which is conveniently close to the city centre (and the metro) and all the main sites, and of course Barcelona's superb beaches. Albiol is an interesting man who probably prefers his philosophy to his tourist...More
We stayed for three nights in the ground floor apartment. The layout is really clever and makes best use of available space. We also enjoyed the long walk up the narrow staircase to enjoy our complimentary bottle of cava on the roof terrace. Barceloneta is...More

Had a great time here, literally a few steps to the beach. Loads of bars and restaurants in the area. The apartment was well maintained, modern with key code entry, foot top terrace. Will visit again in future
I spent ten days in Peppa apartment with my family and it was great. Nicely designed and air-conditioned and most importantly perfectly located. Many cosy restaurants around, close to the beach and metro station. Very kind and helpful staff as well.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in
the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
