Booked through Agoda for 4pax with full apartment description well suited for 4 adults, double checked with Agoda that it is correct booking. Hotel did Not honour the booking when we reached and insisted we only booked a room with 1 queen sized bed. They pushed the blame to Agoda and we had to book an additional room elsewhere last minute. The staff also admitted that this was not the first time it happened (& yet nothing is done to prevent the same? Dodgy.) We also paid part of the city tax via Agoda( as stated clearly in confirmation letter) but hotel insisted we have to pay the full amount on the spot. Side note: still waiting for the eur200 deposit refund. Usually hotels has a holding charge as deposit (and not deduct first then refund). Suggest skipping this hotel for your peace of mind.

Those who booked this hotel or apartment you will regret for lifesssss and make your holiday turn into an nightmare. As from the photo (attachment) we booked a penthouse which included 2 single bed / queen bed / king bed. Which is about 200m sq area. Which shown on the photo clearly. I hope my eye sight not blind. When we check in , the receptionist told us, we BOOKED a LOFT BED ROOM . Which have a queen size bed only ?. We are totally shock. City tax is 4euro per pax. But In agoda status I already paid $79.20sgd for city tax, I just need to pay $29.40sgd. The damn receptionist insist that we need to pay 88euro for the stay. Is really a scam hotel. This hotel mgmt keep blaming on agoda platforms giving us a wrong information. Firstly is the room they give us Secondly is the city tax payment!!! Is totally a scam hotel. IF anyone feel like getting scam or wish to try a forgetful experience please try this hotel. Base on the review I’m not the only one who give 1 ⭐️. I have no choice to give that 1 ⭐️. I don’t even want to give any star on this scam hotel! From the photo I share to everyone is I booked a platform

Nice hotel in the center of Barcelona from where you can visit nearly the whole center of the town by feet. The rooms are rather small but comfortable with a good bed and bathroom. We could rest well without the typical noise of the city. Quite affordable and recomandeble hotel.

Reception poor, the payment was already done 3 days before they like to charge it a anotherwise, unfriendly. The lady from the reception was absolutely unfriendly, bossy, she doesn't seem to have received any training in dealing with customers. We have booked an apartment for 6 people, unfortunately there are only 4 chairs and not enough dishes for them. The reception was not able to get enough cups in 4 days. The coffee machine only takes tabs from the vending machines, each 60 cents, but the vending machine didn't work. Kitchen facilities ridiculous, with 4 kitchen utensils, 1 frying pan and 1 2L pot you can't cook. No tea towels to dry off. I would recommend the managers of this LUXURY temple to stay at a Pierre&Vacances App, that's half price and EVERYTHING is there. Very nice from the outside, neglected inside, mold in the bathroom area and on the ceiling, broken taps and shower head, black mold joints, broken silicone seal on the shower wall, then the bathroom was a swimming pool. Luxury apartment? I can only laugh

Whilst the apartment was spacious and airy and I could see potential for groups having a short break however stopping for one night with family found the place was grubby, no hot water (gutted), kettle broken, staff weren’t welcoming at all, initial greeting we approached desk and said ‘hi, we have a reservation’ the response (no hi or welcome) ‘we have 5 hotels are you sure it’s this one?’. Not welcoming AT ALL. Breakfast was awful, specifically one boiled egg a hotdog and some cake bars. Told we were upgraded when in fact we’d got exactly what we’d paid for. Also you need a credit card upon arrival, just wouldn’t recommend. In terms of location, great, short walk from station and travel options very close sand easy to use. If you aren’t going to be in the apt very much its good location wise.

Arrived, 2 receptionists, with a reservation to be greeted with,"are you sure it's this hotel we have 5" seconds later other receptionist confirmed we had a reservation. Next step, seated to sign several forms. Told we had a upgrade, actual fact it was the apartment type we had booked. Hotel location is great for sants train station. Great room size. The room is in need of a deep clean. Shabby and tired. No terrace or balcony attached to the apartment. Outside door of apartment is a smoking area, gap under door allowed the smell into bedroom near door. Upstairs great size comfy bed but unfortunately the noise of outside the apartment was dusturbing until 3am. Breakfast was awful. What a shame, potential of hotel is very good but staff and upkeep a big let down. Would not recommend and would not revisit.

No hot water!!!! No response to complaint!!! I stayed at this hotel yesterday for one night. Unfortunately, there was no hot water. Not taking a shower was not an option, so I had the most miserable shower. After an ice cold shower, I told the receptionist the problem, but I did not really get an apology or a solution for my problem. I also ask to talk to the manager, but there wasn’t a manager or a responsible person who talk to. I'm a hotel director and I find this problem inadmissible. Waiting for the manager or director to contact me.

This apartment is an easy walk to Sants train station, car rental and the local metro. The place is very clean and spacious. There is an attendant at the lobby 24 hours a day. It feels very safe. The concept of these apartment is a bit "strange" with sculptures of vampire babies and gorillas all over the place... We didn't get that part. The rate we chose included breakfast. You order breakfast the night before but the process is a bit confusing. You fill out a form the night before advising per person what the order should be. The next morning you just get 1 tray with all the orders in one basket. In the end we couldn't tell the orange juice from peach juice or if our egg order was complete. We stayed at the Duplex. While the apartment was spacious, there was no privacy. The rooms had no walls and the shower/bathroom were missing a few things or had things that were broken. An odd thing, you are asked to take your own garbage out to the street when you check out. That was a first. In terms of service, everyone was very helpful and polite at Cosmo Apartments. We needed to leave our bags at the apartments the day before. Santiago was very helpful in receiving our bags and putting them in a secure room until the next day. Same story during check out, we needed to leave the bags in a safe place for about 6 hours and they did this free of charge. Overall this is a good place to stay.

They really ruined by wife birthday! When we got to the hotel they told us on of their sister hotels, the one we booked, was not available. The other hotel, with no internet and almost impossible to call to main office, was super far from all of the things I had plan for my wife's birthday celebrations. Carrying 4 pieces of luggage and my 3 year old on her stroller on the metro, and pebble sidewalks was not on our plan for our stay in Barcelona. Management was impossible to reach and one of the employees promised a refund which never happened. Horrible all around!.
