I liked the location of the hotel close to pza Glories and 15 minutes walking to Pujades. the reception personnel was nice. they gave me the room i requiered on high floor. still, they can improve the menu, especially spaghetti with pesto, first time was like a spaghetti soup with pesto. generally speaking ibis can add an refrige in the...

Just got home from a nice stay in Barcelona. This new hotel is very clean, with friendly staf and a slightly above basic and very good breakfast buffet. an extra pillow was readily provided in the room but I was content with just one. It is not located in the center but that makes for very nice and quiet nights!!...

Hotel itself is common one (I mean you can sleep, take shower without problem (I don't need much)), but its location is very good - walking distance to beach and 2 metro lines, and inside nice and quiet quarter.

We visited this hotel in February 2017 and stayed for five nights. It is out of the centre of Barcelona but close to two metro stations, tram and bus stops and within walking distance of plenty of shopping and dining options. We were able to reach the majority of the sights - including the sea front - within twenty minutes....

The hotel is very well located for business and visiting purpose - very close to two underground stations for fast connections, and on walking distance for good restaurants. It's very good bed in the room, the personnel are supportive, the breakfast is fresh and with appropriate choices.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the metro station. The area was quiet when we stayed. Our room was clean except there would be bugs coming from somewhere in the bathroom every morning. Private parking was available. I find Ibis breakfast in Europe to be very good and this hotel did not disappoint either. The staff were friendly...

Easily accessed hotel with modern decoration in the Poblenou area as there are two metro stations nearby-Glories and Llacuna. Very close there is a shopping centre with shops, restaurants and a large super market. Also within walking distance there is a pedestrian road named La Rambla del Poblenou which is a lively and interesting place to visit, full of restaurants,...

While our requests for a room with a view, and a bath, were both ignored, and the door key passes needing to be re- programmed every day (and we were there for 9) became a bit tedious, we would never the less recommend this hotel. The usual Ibis configuration, so the rooms aren't large, but with a bit of planning...

The location is good however our taxi driver had difficulties to find the hotel. Easy 15 min walk to the beach, underground stations are very close. Hotel and room design and interior is typical Ibis , the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good enough to start the day. I can only recommend this hotel.

Standard Ibis hotel, modern design, clean and good sized rooms, good service and breakfast, helpful staff, decent food at the restaurant, good location in a quiet neighbourhood, 5-10-minute walk from the metro station.

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
