Me and friend been here for 3days 2 nights. We were ask for a twin room, but we've got a double bed room with window side spare bed. In the first time the recepcionist lady was very kind and helpful. After we went down for a wee lunch, we asked for a 3 cheese pizza and lasagne, the pizza was...

Standart IBIS hotel, but completely new. Negative impression: Very limited space in the restaurant during breakfast. One bus with tourists fully occupied the restaurant. No possibility to have a dinner in the hotel (only pizza ordered somewhere). Generaly speaking good compromise between price and comfort. Use metro stop station Liacuna, its simpler than Glories.

For a two star hotel this is excellent. Very easy friendly check in. Room basic but very clean and comfortable and quiet. And it had a bath. Breakfast easily up to four star standards (really good - well done everyone involved. Close to the metro Bar reasonably priced; wifi good. In other words all good - higly recommended.

Stayed here for three nights at the end of October. Could be called a budget hotel, but I really liked it. The rooms were bright and spotless, and it was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The area around thotel is under construction, but dont let that put you off. There centre of Poblenou has its...

If you don't central location this could be a good hotel for you. It's located in a queit area despite some development and building activities going around. It's within 20mins easy walking from the beach. 2 metro stops nearby. The room was typical ibis standard nothing special, nothing wrong. Typical breakfast with large choice for a reasonable price. The staff...

Good standard, relatively new Ibis hotel a few metro stops from the central station. Clean, comfortable, very quiet and friendly staff. Rarely get a bad hotel with Ibis. Got a room on the top floor away from traffic.

It is a budget hotel. Pros: Clean and conveniently located. Staff are helpful. On a quiet street but seems overall safe. Good breakfast deal Euros 8 buffet. Small but manageable room size. Overall worth the price. Cons: No fridge, imagine during hot summer months. No air con after Sept. Had to open window to get cool air but ended up...

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
