It was a good hotel to stay for three nights. The hotel need renovation but the rooms were ok. The location was good because of metro station. The rooms had free wifi. The lobby was so small. Breakfast was ok for a four star hotel. However if you want to see the real attractive and happy barcelona this hotel is...

The room we stayed in was rather tired. The bed had very hard mattresses and a blanket on top with an uncertain level of hygiene. The bathroom was tired with some black mold appearing in the corners around the tub. This is a 2 and a half star hotel at best. But the location is perfect and the cons of...

This hotel provides an excellent location as it is close to the city centre. Breakfast is included and rooms are cleaned daily with good standards, The staff in the reception were friendly and willing to help.

I booked this online after getting my ticket information and upon arrival to the Atiram Barcelona, I was greeted with good service and fairly fast compared to my last stay in the area about a year ago. The rooms look a lot bigger in the brochure but they are comfortable as can be. I'm giving this place 4/5 because of...

We decided to book this hotel after searching for a centrally based hotel which had disabled access. We rang the booking agent and then spoke to the hotel reception as well to confirm that access is good. We arrived early last Sunday morning , the position of the hotel is fantastic for the centre of Barcelona but the access for...

The hotel is clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but nice. The breakfast is very basic and not satiating at all, but if you just want a coffee and a sandwich then it's OK. The best thing about the hotel is the location. The hotel is located near the La Rambla...

Three of us stayed here in a family room for 3 nights on 5th December. We were always made to feel extremely welcome when we left and returned to the hotel. We didn't eat in the hotel or use any of the other facilities as it was purely a base for us as we wanted to do as much as...

Stayed for three nights. Definitely not 4 star. No plug to wash hand basin. Water took ages to get warm. Bath taps very stiff. Bed hard and you could feel and hear the springs (not due to activity by a 70+!!!!) Surprised to find a hairdryer in the bathroom - electricity near water!. Breakfast good spread although cooked items not...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
