You have to bear in mind the excellent situation and reasonable cost when booking the Toledano which is a very basic hotel which is no frills and a bit shabby. I was also allocated the smallest room i have ever been offered, even the door was very narrow. So small that the receptionist who helped me with my suitcase, make...

It has to be the worst hotel/hostel ever, the man on reception was very kind and helpful but we didn't bother staying. The bath had been painted, the room was clean but when the smell of bleach wore off you could smell damp! The bathroom was so cramped it was difficult to move. There was a small terrace overlooking backs...

Graet location in the midlle of the Ramblas. Small room, no luxuries, rather old and rundown but suitable for younger travelers who are planning on using the hotel for a shower and sleepover. Could not ask for more considering price/location.

The location is great, outside is just La Ramblas. We took Areobus from airport, after we arrived, only 2 mins walk to the hotel. We booked a room for three, the room is very basic but clean. The strange part is the hotel share the entrance and elevator with 2 other hotels and a hostel. The hotel is on the 4th...

I was in the single room with bathroom, both of which were ridiculously small. You couldn't close the bathroom door while standing at the sink, and , equally, you couldn't open the door of the room without rearranging the chair that was in the room because there was no space otherwise. The window is above head height (i.e. you don't...

We booked and paid for 2 nights we stayed for nearly 1 night but had to leave early due to valuing our health. It was worth it to pay again for somewhere better. We were suspicious when we booked in having to find the reception on the 4th floor then being shown the room on the 3rd floor looking down...

I stayed for a night in single room with shared facilities. Hostal R. Capitol is located on the 5th level where the reception is on the 4th level. Elevator is available. Checkin was simple and fast as I had prepaid when booking. I arrived in the morning and the hostal stored my luggage first and helped to move my bag...

Brilliant location right on the Ramblas, Hotel Toledano was great for a short break, offering a no frills, friendly service. Clean room and bathroom really friendly staff and a balcony view of the Ramblas from our room. Ideal to stroll down to the waterfront, or the other way walk to Casa Mila and Segrada Familia if you want the fresh...

A VERY basic hotel but in a great location on Las Ramblas. The rooms are small and sparsely furnished. However, It was cleaned every day with fresh towels and a change of bedlinen halfway through a five night stay. Generally after midnight there was no noise and each morning it was the church clock which woke me. If you want...

I stayed at the hotel for two nights, mostly because I was due to leave on an early bus to Madrid on the morning I left and wished to have as easy a trip as possible to the bus station with a suitcase and two bags. The service at Hotel Toledano was extremely pleasant. I even got help with my...
