Not too noisy either considering we were on the busiest street. Lots of market stalls along las ramblas...lovely! Place was spotless. Staff didnt have much english so couldn't provide much...

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Lloret for 4 nights in the end of December. The first thing which pleasantly surprised us was an excellent location of the hotel. It is situated just in the centre of Barcelona, very close to airbus stop, touristic bus service, metro station and shops. The hotel staff was very helpful. There is PC in...

Fantastic location, service and rooms. Really good value for money for such a great location, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was tasty. My room had just been renovated so the bathroom was really nice and new. The room was a little noisy at night due to the location next to La Ramblas - so maybe not good if...

The people at the reception are very kind and friendly. The room was clean, with a good bed, and a decent bathroom and shower. The location is superb, well connected by metro and aerobus (airport bus). And as it is at the Ramblas, it is not a quiet place. Breakfast is sober, but oke. And adjacent there is a good...

“ The hotel Lloret staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and could not have been friendlier! Our room was set out to a very high standard and was spacious and comfortable. We stayed four nights at the Hotel Lloret in September. We arrived at about 3pm and were told our room wouldn't be ready for about half an hour which it was but we were told we would need to move rooms the next morning. No problem as we were out most of the day but when we came back around...

I always go here when visiting Barcelona, one of europes best walking cities. It´s about 300 meters from the central Placa de Catalunya, with all the related metro stations, airport bus stop and prime real estate of the Passeig de Gracia (Gaudi buildings) . But the real attractioon here is the Ramblas....probable the best strolling & people watching boulevard in...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
