I stayed here in October 3 nights and was quite happy considering the cost, rooms not too bad but very noisy. Central location close to transport links. Old decor but OK for short stay, but would not recommend for week or more Friendly staff.

I checked in here after one night at Royal Ramblas. It is close to Rambas and the room was as I had expected. I booked a single room and I had a twin bed. The room was clean. I like that it is next door to Santa Ana church. The first night I discovered that the walls were quite thin...

The hotel cannot be beaten for its location as it is very central and in a quiet location The problem is the noise from the rooms next to you the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything including coughing and bed creaks. My advice would be to bring ear defenders as if you are a light sleeper you...

Why I selected that hotel? Place. One minute to Catalunya square. One minute to Spare supermarket on nearest street. Price. Very attractive price. Buffet on morning good enough for any taste. Good service stuff.

I had been told about this festival by a friend, so decided to go this year to see for myself. By chance I booked the Hotel Cortes, which turned out to be great. A small hotel, not as fashionable as some, but room was lovely and clean, welcome pack in the room, which was a lovely touch. The price also...

The location really makes this hotel. It's a couple of minutes' walk from Catalunya metro and La Rambla. The hotel was very clean and felt like it had been recently refurbished. We stayed in room 101 which was small but big enough. The shower was super, very powerful and would go as hot/cold as you could bear. The walls were...

Stayed for four nights, the room was clean, large and basic. The rooms at the front of the hotel (where mine was) face a shopping/cafe street and can be a bit noisy during the day and evening, didn't bother me and I had no problem sleeping. Great complimentary breakfast included - best coffee I've had in Spain. Would stay again.

Close to Las Ramblas and hop on hop off bus routes. Friendly staff and an included breakfast a real bonus, would stay again. Plenty of small cafes for a quick meal. Some shuttle bus services drop you a block or so away but still an easy walk.
