Stayed for the weekend during the celebration of Sant Jordi. Well located for Metro and RENFE only a short walk away. The Hotel and facilities were immaculately clean which always is a must for me. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Superb "Tea Time" service with a varied selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from all provided by...

I spent four nights at the Hotel Granvia and could not have been happier with my stay. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff were helpful and kind. The building itself is beautiful. The central atrium with white columns is stunning, and I loved the second floor library, sitting room and outdoor patio. Each time I went out to...

This hotel is an absolute gem in the heart of Barcelona, exceptionally well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff are very helpful and the manager is visibly present, obviously taking pride in operating the hotel well. The breakfast room and terrace are beautiful and full of sunshine. Food quality is excellent and the tea time offerings were a treat.

Dear guest, Thank you for your comments! Our hotel is in a convenient location due that it is close to many places of interest, but at the same time, it is not right at the city centre which could be a hassle sometimes. We arrived very early, so the staff kindly directed us to the lounge and held our bags while we embarked on our first day in the city. When we returned later to check in to our room, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room was. The high ceilings, many pieces of comfortable furniture, huge bathroom, and balcony were...

Overview: 6-night stay in a Superior Room. Couple in their 30s. Breakfast included. The location of Hotel Granvia is smack in the middle of the La Rambla and Passeig De Gracia streets, which provides great shopping and dining options, both budget and high-end. Everything is in direct walking distance. Don't even bother getting the HOLA BCN card. The hotel is...

Smack in the middle of the city close to everything. Wonderful personable and very helpful staff. Our room on the 4th floor offered a large opening window overlooking the inner courtyard, a small bathroom with an excellent shower and very comfortable king sized bed and pillow option menu. Breakfast offered plenty of choices in a very stylish room or out...

We wasn't welcomed upon arrival, the two men at reception were very rude throughout our stay in the hotel. When we asked questions within the area it was as if Albert at reception couldn't be asked to answer our questions and he kept tutting at us. It's a shame on the service as the Hotel was clean and very modern.

Good hotel with good breakfast and a terrasse. Ask for a room to the terrasse because the street - side is very loud. You can go to Casa Mila and Casa Batllo by foot. Also to La Rambla and Barri Gotic

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
