We’ve stayed twice now which shows we liked it. It’s down as a 3* but better than that. A good selection at breakfast and a great location in the city. Easy to access by Metro from the Airport.

The hotel is clean, the rooms quite large, but the breakfast menu was the same for 4 days without varieties. For those who go to the sea is ok, as a settlement, but for those who go to visit, the hotel is very far away....More
Oh dear. Where do I start, but the headline is don’t stay here.

3night City break, loved the location as away from the hustle and bustle with plenty of restaurant bars near by and opposite the beach fir a lovely stroll into centre. The room was a bit of a let down in terms of a number of...More

The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of
activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.

There is no airport shuttle service, we paid for a 3 day underground pass which was well worth it. But it is about a 15 minute walk to the hotel a bit of a haul if you have got a lot of baggage, hope this helps

For a relaxing drink just come out of the door turn left and about 50 yards away are about 5 bars/restaurants in a row. Food is decent and a selection of drinks. For partying I would suggest getting taxis into town as they are pretty cheap. You can take the metro at Poblenou but probably a 6-10 minute walk depending how fast you walk. Was there for Primavers Sound Festival so no idea whay the nightlife is like in central Barcelona I'm afraid.
