Hotel location was excellent, near the top end of La Ramblas, where you walk out of the door and you are amid all the street entertainment. The hotel restaurant served the most delicious food. Tour bus stops were a 3 or 4 minute walk away from this hotel with plenty of restaurants and bars a stone's throw away. We were...

This was nice hotel. We stayed here year ago so can't recall all the details but overall this was nice experience. Rooms were standard size, downstairs breakfast was really great. Lots of items to choose from. But definitely the best thing is the location. Recommended.

We stayed in a Design Family room - modern, clean and very large room - with partial wall between adults and kids. The sound proofing is excellent, which is a good job as the Ramblas is noisy 24hrs a day. The hotel restaurant is reasonable, but there are plenty better wihtin a few minutes walking distance, as well as supermarkets.

This hotel is in the most perfect location for a trip to Barcelona. It is right on La Rambla where a street show goes on almost 24 hours a day, but when you close the windows, you can't hear a thing. We splurged for the room with the street view and it was worth it. We started a month long...

We spent 8 days here and have no complaints. Within walking distance of most area points of interest. Real close access to Metro system, bus lines, and taxis are easy to find (front desk will even get you one). A block from Placa Catalunya. Restaurants are everywhere along the Ramblas and side streets.

We liked the rooms and the fact that the hotel is located on Las Ramblas. Rooms were clean and quite nice. The staff was not very friendly and we had a bad experience at the La Poma restaurant one evening when we went to eat there. Service was very bad and the waiter was so unfriendly that we had the...

Hotel is located right on La Ramblas, the main tourist street in Barcelona. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and we had no issues with noise despite our location. Front desk is understaffed and there is no concierge. Average breakfast buffet.

Stayed at this hotel for an evening stop over in Barcelona. The location is super central, right in the action where you want to be!! Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room nice and clean and quiet considering how central the hotel is and how noisy it is outside. Had a car which was 20 euros to park for...

We went to Spain on our honeymoon and stayed at Royal Ramblas for 5 days. We stayed on the 6th floor in an upgraded room, and it had all of the amenities we needed during our stay. Our room was very quiet and we heard no noise from the busy street below. The location allowed us to walk everywhere and...

Stayed 1 night prior to a cruise. Great location right on Las Ramblas. Our room was on 6th floor overlooking Las Ramblas. It was not noisy at all. They had double windows. Views of street below were great for people watching and views. Taxi ride from airport was about 25 Euro. Will check your bags until your room is ready...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
