The room was newly painted and very clean. Could open window and look down on La Ramblas street which is always busy but this was very good. The walls are a little thin, but over all the room was all that was required for a three night stay. Breakfast was included and was very good. Long pillow like bolster.

This hotel isn't the most luxurious that you will ever stay in, but it is value for money, clean and you couldn't ask for a better location. I can recommend the breakfasts and staff were very helpful. We look forward to our next visit although I would expect the hotel to be quite noisy during the main tourist season

I stayed for 2 nights with my sister. Location is excellent. Cleanliness was v good. Room was v good. Although it was a small hotel, but it seems pretty busy. I remember the tiny elevator that takes 2 persons. It makes you feel like you are back in time to the 30s or 40s. If I ever go back to...

Our recent visit was our second in this hotel. The location is superb, towards the bottom of the famous "Ramblas", within spitting distance of two metro stations. The rooms are of reasonable size, have good beds and are very clean. I spent one-night as pre-cruise accommodation. Boy am I happy that it was just one night. Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
