Two good nights sleep and a lot of sight seeing in Barcelona behind us. The hotel is clean, good air conditioning, rooms not too large but very good for a ahort stay. Friendly service, good breakfast but at a fairly high price. The hotel is...More
With no air conditioning and we were above a bar where the cigarette smoke would come in through the open window. That was just on Saturday night. Sunday night was fine. We totally enjoyed our visit in Barcelona.

Hotel located just off Rambla, very close to all the shopping and the old quarters with restaurants and tapas bars. Just spectacular location for city exploration. Beware that the hotel is located within "no driving" zone, so your taxi may not want to drop you...More
We enjoyed our stay in this property very much. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable and the location can't be beat. We were within walking distance of the waterfront, the Plaza Catalunya, las Ramblas, the Cathedral, and many great eateries.
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
