First time visit, booked by our agent as an overnight stop prior to a Cruise. Modern Hotel, we had a standard room, albeit a bit small, which was well appointed with a nice bathroom; comfy bed. WE were B & B only, and as the Hotel is situated a good way from the City Centre, had to have a good scout around to find somewhere for our evening meal. WE would recommend Tricki Trac in Calle de Numancia, approx 10/ 15 mins walk, close to Sants mainline Railway Station. WE found the Hotel Breakfast excellent, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. Reception staff also very helpful. Overall a decent place to stay for a pre-cruise overnight, but if visiting Barcelona for any longer duration, I would want something closer to the action. Taxi to the port took 20/25 mins, despite heavy traffic & cost 20 Euros…

A great location by one of the main train stations if you don't mind being a little bit out of the hustle and bustle. The renfe train took us right from the airport to Sants Station (estacion) then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We got a ticket for 10 uses throughout our 4 day trip this could be used on the buses, metro and renfe train. We used the metro a number of times really easily. We were greeted by Alex, who was very happy to help and handed us a cold drink as we arrived. Our room was really nice, with hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel - if I had known I wouldn't have packed it all! Pool area was nice to use in an afternoon after a day out being busy. The arenas shopping centre 10 minutes walk from the hotel had a number of really nice restaurants at the top with 360° views of the city. Bottom floor had some great ice cream for dessert too! The magic fountains weds- Sunday 9.30 - 10.30 are a must see just another 5 minutes walk. …

This was the second time we stayed at H10 Itaca. The location is close to Barcelona Sants train station. We got off/on the Aerobus at Placa Espana and walked 10 min to the hotel. The check in process took very long time. It always surprises me that it takes so long to check in, as this almost never happens in Norway. The receptionist was helpful and nice when we finally welcomed to our five night stay. We was given room 510, which was a deluxe king room. The room had safe, minibar and air condition. The bed was nice, and we slept well. it would have been nice to have bathrobes. The only problem was that the doors to 3 neighboring rooms made such noise when the were open/closed, so we kept waking up every time our neighbor left/came to the room. This became quite bothersome the last two nights when a group of young ladies visited each other’s rooms constantly during the night. We booked the “bed and breakfast” offer, which we are happy for. The breakfast was very nice and had everything you could want. The staff in the breakfast restaurant was very nice. We also had a drink in the lobby bar, which was very nice. The staff was very enthusiastic. We wouldn’t hesitate to book at this hotel next time in Barcelona. We have also prior stayed at H10 Casanova, which also was very nice and closer to Placa Catalunya.…

Overall we would stay here again and we’re very happy with our visit. The location is a little rural from the tourist hot spots. We walked approximately 45 mins - 1 hr to get to the tourist hot spots such as the beach, zoo aquarium and museums. Roughly 30 mins to Camp Nou (now moving to the Olympic stadium for 1 year) We didn’t find this an issue as we love to walk/explore but the area where the hotel is located is a bit boring for holiday makers. The metro is approximately a 5 minute walk and costs €6 euros to travel to the airport or €4 for a single trip. Easy to use and a lot cheaper than taxis. The staff were lovely. We cannot fault them at all, very polite and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless. The bed was large and very comfy with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was good, it occasionally flicked between scolding hot and freezing but nothing that bothered us too much. The hotel facilities were ok. The pool was dirty when we arrived due to local birds using it as a bath but I did notice it being cleaned that evening. Unfortunately I didn’t attempt to use it again during our trip and did not see anyone else use it. The bar was a little pricey but did the job, once again the staff were lovely. We booked to have breakfast each day, it was mainly continental which we weren’t aware of. The hot breakfast options were very poor, coming from a country that thrives on a good full English it was a little disappointing. By day 3 we skipped breakfast and went out instead. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Everything was as we expected or better minus the breakfast and pool. No serious complaints or issues at all. …

Stayed here one night as we arrived by train and were headed to the airport. Nothing special about the hotel but it was ideal for what we needed and the staff were all helpful and friendly. My husband tried to swim in the pool but it was not heated.

We had a very nice two day stay here, for a football and sightseeing weekend. Close to Metro/Train, supermarkets and within walking distance of Camp Nou. Rooms are a bit old, but has everything that you need. Breakfast was fine, and very frindley staff everywhere at the hotel. We will come back again another time

Nice hotel, booked through BA, a bit far out maybe and near Sants which isn’t very picturesque but plenty of transport links. The room was fine once we had worked out opening the window, no aircon, but I think that’s now a law in Spain or at least Catalunya. Breakfast was fantastic, staff were helpful, although the bar shut early and the hot chocolate was from a packet.

Really glad we booked direct with the hotel as we automatically became H10 members so we got a great price as well as lots of little perks - a free cocktail each and some welcome chocolates. I appreciate little touches like that! The room was kept really clean and there were plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was nice, quite a lot of variety. As it was February, the pool area was closed but we saw the staff preparing the decking, presumably getting ready for spring, and it looked like it would be a great area to relax in the warmer months. Unfortunately I can only give 4 stars due to the location. Not unsafe but just quite far from the best restaurants and bars in Eixample (they were about a 15 minute walk away). That said, it was close to Sants train station and Morrow coffee is nearby if you like good coffee.…

This a very cute hotel near Sants Station which is very handy for train and airport transfers. The décor is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. We had an issue with the shower but the receptionist offered a room swap and we were very happy with it. The staff are very friendly from reception to house keeping to breakfast. A special thanks to Paula from reception, very kind. My suggestion as a customer would be to improve the internet connection and the heating as it got really cold in Barcelona. Other than that, all was ok. I would stay there again for sure.

Stayed here for 3 nights in November 22, and couldn't fault it. Five minute walk from Sants Railway Station, and on bus route into the city. Hotel was nicely decorated for christmas, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and cozy with large flatscreen tv on wall, comfy beds, and lovely touches all around. For instance, coffee machine in room was always topped up every morning with milk and coffee, shaving, toiletry kits in little boxes in bathroom. Rooms cleaned, and beds made everyday. One evening i answered a knock on the door , to be greeted by a cleaner who gave me a little box of Ferrero Roche choccies . How nice is that ! I was on 3rd floor. Lifts were very efficient with digital displays outside indicating when one was on its way, and which floor it was on. If i had to pick a little fault, the eggs for breakfast were often dried up, and one morning, no beans ! lol One previous review mentions the pool being shallow, well yes it was, but its November, and i wasn't there to swim !.The hotel is situated a little bit outside of the city centre, so most places are a 45 minute walk to get to. As i prefer to walk, it was no problem for me, but the hotel has great public transport links. I would highly recommend this hotel, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.…
