Booked this hotel for a 5 night stay in Barcelona. The location was perfect for easy access to all the marvellous sights this city has to offer. Walking distance to most. The downside was our room (104). Our bedroom window opened into he laundry area which had floodlights on till very late (approx 11pm) and on again early (approx 5am) alongside incredible amounts of noise from trolleys, staff and the lift. We couldn’t keep the bedroom window open as the noise was too much and had to close the outside shutters to block out the light and try to block out some of the noise. Our sleep was disrupted and the staff shrugged when we tried to discuss the issue with them. The room itself was pleasant enough but the shower temperature was hard to regulate and when running it would go from moderate to scalding with no warning. We parked in the car park over the road which the hotel issued us with a pass so we could get discounted rates - but they omitted to tell us how to operate the pass so we ended up paying the full airline tariff (extortionate). Upon leaving they did begrudgingly refund us what we had overpaid.

The hotel is in a prime position on La Ramblas, lots of shops and restaurants : it is surprisingly quiet in rooms and shutters, voile & heavy curtain mean not disturbed by sound or light ; Rooms are cleaned, beds and towels changed daily, very impressed. the breakfast is plentiful and a lot of variety: do NOT eat/drink on La Rambla centre pavement, 6€ for coffee BUT inside restaurants 2€ , this is because they pay a premium to use the centre pavement and pass on cost to tourists; The staff at Hotel Arc are very helpful & friendly, especially Edvin & Leonardo who both went above & beyond in assisting us, we are very grateful; The Barceloneta Beach is 10 min walk to right of hotel, just across from Christopher Columbus statue. Taxis are plentiful and if more than 2 people , usually cheaper than by bus. Sagrada Familia is a must but book in advance : we spent 3 1/2 hours there , took lift to top, great views. the walk down is challenging, narrow & dark in Places and the last part is a very tight spiral staircase.

I did a family vacation to Barcelona and stayed at the ARC La Rambla hotel for 7 days. It is my first experience traveling to Barcelona and learned a lot from the culture, its people, and architecture. I wanted a boutique hotel to stay right where the tourist has fun and learns a lot of its food and tavernas. When completing our research we found ARC La Rambla. A nicely located hotel where you can experience the true Catalonia services. When arriving at the hotel we were greatly greeted by the concierge group as well as to their General Manager Mr. Victor Marques. They were very attentive and provided us the true Catalonian welcome. Every Morning I saw Mr. Marques and always greeted us and was very attemtive making sure that all of us were ok and even suggested awesome restaurants, tavernas, and breakfast places to get the famous rosquilla and churros with hot chocolate. The rooms that I and my family got were superb and were above the 3-star hotel that they are registered for. The room was very spacious and their bathroom too. My wife and I were lucky to get their Jr. Suite with a superb terrace that had a view to the Rambla and to the Cristobal Colon Plaza which is close to the port. I definitely recommend paying a little extra and get the suite Every single employee of ARC was always smiling and looking for ways to please you. Their morning breakfast was out of this world, especially when you are experiencing European breakfast. Their pastries, Jamon Serrano, Cheeses, coffee to include other items were super tasty and well presented in their breakfast room. The hotel has open areas that are private for guests if you want to take a sun tan. The hotel guidance for COVID-19 is always to wear a mask within the property minus your room. Did I forget to mention the hospitality of the personnel, well the cleaning crew was always on the top of things and the hotel was very spotless.
If you are looking for a hotel to be at the center of La Rambla this is the one to stay at. This will be one of many stays that my wife and I will be staying over and over in our newfound vacation retreat.
Lastly, Mr. Marquez and Hotel Crew you made our travels very fun and you have a 5 star hotel in my eyes.

Located at the Columbus Column end of Barcelonas most famous street, La Rambla. The hotel is only 2 min walk to Metro station Dressanes and about 15 min walk to other end of La Rambla at Plaça de Catalunya.
Immediately outside are a few restaurants that of course are overpriced but our thinking is we know we could eat the same food cheaper a couple of streets back but what’s the point in that? Unless you’re a backpacker trying to save a dollar (or Euro!) where you can, paying extra for the experience of eating and taking in the vibe on Barcelonas most famous street is really not that big a deal.
Now… noise. La Rambla is a VERY busy street with pedestrians walking up and down all hours of the night. So if you have a room overlooking the street you will have noise. We knew this and it’s amazing how good noise cancelling ear phones can be 😀
The hotel itself was perfectly fine. Room was smallish but clean. We weren’t in the room much anyway so size not relevant. We arrived early but was able to store all of our luggage in lockers in the hotel for €2.
Would recommend this hotel for sure purely on location but also had positive experiences with all the staff we dealt with.

This was our second visit to Arc la Rambla and we came back because the hotel is spotless, the rooms are very clean and modern and offer everything you need for a city break, only thing we missed was having a USB charging point. The breakfast was very good, excellent choice of food and drinks, there is a lovely roof top terrace with tables and sun loungers. Once outside the hotel you are on the main lLa Rambla street with all the hustle and bustle, it’s a perfect location.

We stayed at Arc La Rambla on a short break in November which had been postponed from the start of the pandemic in 2020! Throughout a difficult period of uncertainty the hotel management were helpful and understanding too ensure that we would be able to take up our original booking when travel permitted.
The hotel occupies a good position towards the harbour end of La Rambla and is conveniently close to two Metro stations as well as the Gothic quarter. There is a great choice of quality places to eat around the hotel and more just a short stroll to Placa Reial.
We had a Junior suite at the rear of the hotel with a small terrace/balcony which overlooks other buildings and one nearby currently under constructed but this wasn't a major problem. The rooms were clean, modern and well appointed for a short stay. The hotel has good covid protocols in respect of mask wearing and sanitisation which was most reassuring.
The team of staff were all friendly and helpful to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The breakfast offered a good selection and set us up for the day!
Overall we enjoyed staying at Hotel Arc La Rambla which made our first visit to Barcelona most enjoyable.

Loved Arc La Rambla - great employees, perfect location. Though our room was tiny and not really conducive to doing anything but sleeping, it had a little balcony overlooking La Rambla with all it's pedestrians, tapas restaurants and shops. The beds were sooo comfortable. The metro is just a block away and there were so many places you could easily walk to. There is a restaurant on site but we preferred eating off the beaten path where food was cheaper and often better than on the main drag.
