Hotel felt really high class, trendy, and CLEAN. Employees were very attentive and polite. Probably the best service I've ever had and I've stayed at the biggest hotels in the biggest cities in the U.S. Excellent design of hotel room and common spaces. Hotel always smelled nice. Great location. Great amenities, especially considering it's a smaller hotel. Breakfast was 5 stars. I just stayed at Hard Rock Ibiza (supposedly 5 stars) and ME Barcelona had much better food for what they offered. Easily twice as good. I stayed in a superior room with terrace which was 100% worth it. Great outdoor space for some fresh air in a private setting.

Upon arrival, an expressive decor invites you with vibrant energy.
And as soon as you cleared the hallway, a team of humans at the concierge desk, bars, reception and housekeeping takes you in with open arms.
The energy is excellent and I recommend anyone who is in need of a place to work feeling taken care of and in good hands, to visit this home for expression and creation.
The comfortable furniture, colors, and size of meeting rooms, and great selection of food and beverage at this hotel transformed my stay and my events into genuine experiences.
Special shout out to Javier Casanova at the concierge for his attention to details and going above and beyond in his service, Aitor for making evening events marvelous, and Frederique and Joana for taking care of every little detail in the restaurant.

We were excited on our return trip to Barcelona after over 20 years and seeing all the improvements to the Sagrada Familia so we started by checking into the ME Hotel, near the Catalunya Plaza (Plaça de Catalunya) with all the pigeons. The hotel is beautiful and filled with interesting art and decor. It was on a quiet street near several good restaurants including Tracatrá, a tapas place with live flamenco performances, which was delicious, fun, and reasonably priced with great service.
The woman checking us in could not find our reservation and after checking online ourselves, it appears our reservation did not exist(!). Maya, the supervisor on duty, let us spend a little more time looking for it but to no avail. She then stepped in and kindly offered to book us a room with a favorable rate including all the amenities we had planned for in our original reservation. We have never been treated so well by a front desk member in years of traveling all over the world.
Javier gave us a grand tour of the premises, the restaurants, the rooftop pool area, the artwork, and more. He made sure to give us a full room tour as well and was extremely warm and welcoming! The room itself was very large with a grand soaking tub near the entrance outside the bathroom. It provided a lovely, albeit quick respite while getting ready for our night out. The room had everything one could need, including ample amenities and interesting decor, and art books. The only thing missing was a sofa but that may be due to our room being oddly shaped and different from most. Also, the windows had "bars" running across the length of it as part of the overall architecture so I would consider it an obstructed view.
The breakfast was delicious and ample but I wish the server had pointed out the buffet when we were seated. Instead, we ordered omelets first, and only to discover it once they were served. The service here was well above and beyond any place we have stayed, and we will definitely stay at a ME in the future. Highly recommended.

Had a very good welcome by friendly staff upon arrival, he offered us drinks while waiting for check in and he also kindly book us a table at their restaurant for lunch. Hotel is nicely located, very modern and sleek. A bit too sleek to my taste but it’s just a different style. We then get escorted to our rooms by a guest service officer who explained all kind of facilities in the hotel and amenities in the room. We got twin beds which I then requested to get a king size instead, it was changed no problem. Roof top has a nice terrace and a small pool but decent and it’s heated, Food at their restaurant was good, service is also good although there are 1-2 unfriendly waitress/waitresses there. Food price is fair, drinks are on the higher side (10euros for a virgin mojito).
I would have given this a 5 stars rating if only they have a better spa. I booked 80mins of massage, the therapist hands were cold so that was not so pleasant to start with. The worst part is that the cabin is under an elevator! For 80 minutes nonstop I heard the elevator going and it drove me nuts. The massage overall was not bad and yet I feel it was more like a torture due to the noise and the vibration from the elevator. It was the most horrible massage experience I’ve had in a 5* hotel. I addresses this to the therapist who said that she reported to front office but nothing else done. I also mentioned to front office while checking out but nothing but “we are sorry”.
There is also no relaxing area with sauna/hammam. I chose this hotel coz of the spa but was not aware of the lack of the spa facilities itself.
You guys need to rethink this if you plan to sell the spa as added value to the hotel.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was outstanding. We were met at the door and our luggage was taken from us, from the moment you walk in the doors the hotel smells fantastic and you’re greeted with a glass of cold water and cava upon arrival. We arrived at 11am and check in is 3pm but wasn’t a problem as we were given somewhere to change and then spent the rest of the day on the amazing roof top. When it’s time to go to the room you are given a tour of the facilities, the room was perfect, very clean and spacious. Cleaners come daily and the room is always spotless - pyjamas are even folded and placed on the pillow, the little things that really make it. Turn down service is also done every day with little chocolates left on the pillows. Reception staff also always available and willing to help with anything you needed. Concierge are always more than happy to help and make reservations for you. Every member of staff always has a smile and are all extremely friendly and welcoming and it all feels very genuine. Nothing is too much for anyone. Would like to give a special thanks to Jorge who was always there with a friendly smile and very helpful with anything we needed and also Jerson behind the bar - some of the best cocktails i’ve ever tasted, presentation and taste was amazing and he was very attentive. However every member of staff deserves a thank you as we had the most wonderful stay and couldn’t complain about a single thing. All in all a very good experience and if we ever return to Barcelona will be returning and recommending to everyone.

We booked a 4 night stay after reading the good reviews. The hotel exceeded our expectations. On arrival we were immediately greeted by staff who ensured our luggage was safety transported to our room. Check-in was slick. Cava on arrival and then a staff member gave us a tour of the hotel and then took us personally to our room. The room was beautiful. Air-con was excellent, with the august temperatures this was important. Concierge were excellent in helping us organise some sight seeing tours of the city. Food was very good, especially breakfast. I would like to add that every member of staff we encountered were very friendly, always polite and very professional. The hotel was kept immaculate. The rooftop pool was an added bonus and was a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. The location was just perfect. 10-15 minute walk to the gothic part of the city. 20 minutes to the beach. Restaurants and shops in abundance and were a mere 5 minutes walk. Taxis were always available from the hotel and the hop on bus was easily picked up from just around the corner from the hotel. We will be returning to the ME hotel. We loved it!

First off this is a really nice hotel, band new, clean, modern in the heart of Barcelona with a luxurious comfortable room and a nice roof pool. Although the unruly kids in the roof pool put a damper on it. It should be an adult only pool.
I deduct 1 star because the ME+ plus suite *extras* they list on the website are difficult to get and some come with major extra charges.
In summary book the hotel but I do not recommend ME+ if you want any of the ME+ perks. It felt like ME+ was not something the hotel staff even knew about. I have stayed at other ME hotels and booked the ME+ and always felt it was worth it. Not here. It just created unnecessary stress trying to get what I paid for. Had I just booked a regular room at half the price the hotel stay would have been perfect.

Exceptional stay from start to finish. On check in, I asked if any upgrades were available, to which I was offered the option to view both rooms first to see which I preferred before investing in the more expensive room. I’m so glad this was offered to me as the original room was my preferred choice and saved me spending unnecessarily.
Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel, they couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our stay. Jonatan on concierge was particularly brilliant. He helped us book several excursions and meals out. Anything we needed throughout our stay whether we were at the hotel or not, was met. Concierge were contactable via WhatsApp and very responsive whenever we needed them.
I also had a couple of requests to make the room more comfortable and these were seen to straight away.
When we checked in, the manager of the hotel introduced himself and escorted us to our room.
All the staff were so warm, friendly and helpful. The room was exquisite - very clean, loads of towels, beautifully comfortable and enormous bed.
My only small bit of feedback was that there is a beautiful perfumed smell throughout the hotel which adds to the luxurious feeling, however sometimes it was too strong in certain areas eg. The lifts, or the lobby so perhaps could have been toned down slightly.
All in all, this was a 10/10 stay and would definitely stay again next time I go to Barcelona.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the doorman and offered a drink. We had a glass of Cava and checked in at the desk. We were told our room was vacant but not ready, which was a surprise as I had enquired before arriving about the possibility of early check in (as part of the ME+ experience). Also as part of ME+ check in was advertised as “in room” which was not available.
We were told that we would be messaged when the room was ready however this didn’t happen so we returned 3hrs later to confused staff, they didn’t know who we were, where our luggage was and what room we were in, therefore took a long time to get shown to our room. We had to go into the luggage room to find our bags. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to the staff who appeared unorganised and unprofessional.
When we were finally shown round and led to the room we were pleased with how clean and beautifully presented the hotel was. The roof top pool/bar is lovely, with a view of Sagarada Familiar, however there were not enough sun loungers for guests.
We stayed in a ME+ Suite Plaza Cataluna View. The room was a lovely size, however we were unable to see the view (as advertised) as our room was low down and the Plaza was secluded by trees which was a shame.
We had breakfast included. The continental breakfast options were good. However it was very concerning, from a food hygiene perspective, that the “hot” buffet was stone cold….cold eggs….cold bacon…cold sausages. When informing the waiter of this he said “I know, you can order from me”. I did indeed order an omelet which was tasty, however upon asking for some bacon I ordered that didn’t turn up he accused me of not ordering it. Very unprofessional at any establishment, let alone a 5* hotel. The in room breakfast offered as part of ME+ was also not easy to arrange so we did not bother.
Jonatan at the concierge was really friendly and helpful both before and during our stay and the whole Aura team were easily contactable by WhatsApp to answer our questions. Although we did request late check out (advertised as “subject to availability” part of ME+) to be told to ask upon checkout and we would have to swap rooms.
As part of the ME+ package we had a 25min couples massage and a cocktail bar experience both of which were arranged by Jonatan which were good.
The location of this hotel is excellent! You can walk to the Sagarada Familiar in 20mins, you are right by La Pedrera and Casa Batllo as well as designer shops. You can also get the metro, buses etc to anywhere easily.
Overall I do not think we would stay in a ME hotel again as the ME+ experience was not executed well for the price paid. The things advertised should be offered and have them easily accessible, not have to ask or have them subject to availability.

I booked the Me Barcelona based on the reviews I seen and the diversity of art and diverse marketing I seen represented in their photos. As a single woman traveler I like to make sure I'm arriving to a great and safe but also Luxuriously sexy environment. The Me Barcelona is the best. There's fashion and art throughout the location. Also they have Charlie's Angels for you : Larisa, Laura, Marina!!!! These girls in the picture with me are so amazing! Alessio and Aura were also super cool to make sure the room had some special touches.They checked in on me and made sure all my needs were met. No question to big or small. They have What'sApp for ease of communication throughout your trip! When my friends arrived the next day for our cruise they took care of everyone! Also Alessio , with his crew of guys will make sure everything is perfectly placed in your room and they are amazing eye candy too! Super friendly attentive , highly professional staff that ensure your vacation is fun and high energy. Also make sure to have the lobster roll here! It's Amazing... I have stayed at the Me Barcelona twice and they never disappoint. Super safe, welcoming, Art & Fashion forward and in the heart of all the fun... I think there are suites that have access to a patio/balcony, but the standard rooms do not. There is a roof terrace with pool, and a terrace next to the bar/restaurant which has seating and catches the sun.
All of them have doors secluding, but some have a wall from the shower made out of glass, but if you want a full closed one, you can just request it at check-in and they will assign a fully closed one
