Stayed at the U232 Hotel in May.Could not fault the hotel. Had a room over the street. No problem with the noise. Reading the reviews I was a little worried about the distance from the Hospital Clinic metro station. It is no distance at all. You can see the entrance from the hotel. You can easily wheel your cases from...

This Hotel is very nice hotel, great room, great service, great food, great location. We were honeymooners, and we had a very professional staff, so helpful. The room is on the 9th floor of the hotel, its the top room, so clean, so quite, perfect view.

We stayed here for three nights. Firstly the staff were very helpful and answered any queries we had. The Hotel was a little out of the way from the main attractions...though there is the Metro and Bus lines nearby. We had the Triple Family Room. Here's the bad news, no natural light and a bit too cosy/small for my liking....

Dear U232 guest, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I apologize for your disappointment in regards to our triple rooms. They are, as you mention, interior rooms, but they offer a good value for money, since they include the same amenities of our U232 rooms at a lower rate, and in some cases, even two...

this would have been a good stay. Pleasant, helpful staff and the good/ central location would make this hotel a good choice. But, it is unlikely that I'll go back there, especially to stay in one of the luxury rooms. The bathroom had a bath unit, with enough bits and pieces to allow 4 adults to shower simultaneously, without bothering...

Cool hotel. Nice part of the city, though a bit away from the main attractions. There is a metro station nearby though, so probably not much hassle to get into the old town. We walked it and it was a bit of a slog-good to do once, to get your bearings but afterwards get the metro.. Couple of nice restaurants...

My wife and I got the room on the 9th floor and all I have to say is the room was huge in comparison to our hotel in Paris. We also had our own patio which was great. The location is about a 20 minute walk to Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia where all the shops area. I...

As my title states, we only stayed one night. The hotel itself is dark. Black walls, dim lighting, dark wood coloring. It kind of made it a little creepy. The room itself was ok. Pretty dark as well, but if you turn all the lights on its not so bad. Couple of things weird/bad about the room: 1. We had...

We stayed here for my birthday back in March of this year. From the moment you walk in you can tell this is a boutique hotel and was very clean and modern. The room was very nice although didn't have much of a view from the window but that didn't matter so much as we were too bust exploring Barcelona...

I stayed here for two nights from Aug 28-30th before a Mediterranean cruise. I only paid about $100 a night for this hotel and was very pleased with the value I received. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable with a safe in each room. We stayed in a basic room which had a balcony...

Our family of three stayed here for 3 nights in August. It's a very modern hotel, with sleek fixtures and fittings. However it's very dark and our internal room had hardly any natural light. I didn't think this would bother me however it did! We couldn't tell what the weather was like without going outside or upstairs to the terrace....

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
