Just back from four nights at this simple but comfortable and convenient hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful and the location could not be bettered being close to metro station, shops, restaurants and all the sights of this amazing city. Looking forward to our next trip.

We picked this place based on reviews and hope... And we were not disappointed. It was PERFECT. This is not a fancy, high end hotel. The rooms are quite small and utilitarian. The beds are, too (we had skinny twins - how else will they fit in the room?), the shower reminded me of camping and the elevator is essentially...

Small room with even smaller bathroom but spotlessly clean with great bedding. Fabulous location on a cute as hell square yet very quiet and quaint. I definitely recommend! We are world travelers and el Jardi has a great overall vibe. Not fancy but rock solid!

The hotel was fine - you get what you pay for and the price is very cheap and the location is good...easy to get to everything in the Barri Gotic neighborhood. Rooms are small, showers are small, bed is hard. There was no remote control for the tv, no safe in the room, no information in the room about the...

El Jardi is a 5 star hotel based on value and quality (it's not a 5 star super deluxe business hotel) -- it's a simple hotel for travelers who need a clean, functional room with a good hot shower in an amazing location (walking distances from hotel: La Boqueria = 3 mins, The Cathedral = 5 mins; Museu Picasso =...

El Jardi is a good option in a great location. There's nothing special about the rooms (in fact, they're pretty bland-looking), but our room was a good size for a good price and, with breakfast included and a great location, I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was always friendly. Be prepared for some stairs before you can get to...

Excellent little place. We stayed for 3 nights and booked a exterior room that had a lovely view. Our room was small, but clean, tidy and very cozy. The hotel looked after guests, breakfast was lovely, with fresh pasties every morning. When we returned to our room on the eve of Valentines the cleaners had left a picture as a...

Stayed at the El Jardi recently, would highly recommend as is so close to the Ramblas. Situated in a traditional square with numerous tapas bars - great atmosphere in the evening. Friendly helpful staff, rooms cosy & clean - a hidden gem !!!!
