Excellent location; clean and spacious room. Had read several reviews about too much noise and the noise did not bother us at all although our room was facing La Rambla. We had a nice view and slept soundly every night. We had Internet connection and when it failed, they reset the router immediately and everything worked fine. We only regret...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cuatro Naciones. The location is superb- I mean, it really does not get much better than having your room's balcony overlooking the bustling La Rambla! The rooms were large and very clean. Granted, we knew that we would not be getting a five star hotel for the price we paid, so the...

Brilliant location at the Rambla, its settled futher down so the noice is less, but there is little noice if you get a room directed to the street. The rooms are ok, triple room is very priceworthy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and speaks ok english. The breakfast is not the one you remember, but is there any hotel...

I went to Barcelona with two of my friends during summer last year, we booked a room here, a triple. pretty decent size room, bathroom was clean, the beds were okay, a little small, the balcony was the best part overlooking Las ramblas, which is one of the coolest parts about barcelona. The location was great, it was close to...

We booked 3 nights near the end of March and were given a room on the first floor. All through the night, we were awakened by the sound of running water, trays(?) being stacked- it sounded like we were beside a kitchen. The staff explained that several rooms extend into the building beside it. Why would you rent out a...

this is a clean budget hotel in a central location. No frills rooms. I personally would not stay on Ramblas again. Too touristy for my taste.

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
