The location can't be any better. The rooms are simple but clean, with comfortable showers. Everything moneywise was as expected, no surprises.

This place was right in the Barri Gothic area. The place was clean, however no kitchen for people staying. However in the area lots of great tapa restaurants to fill you stomache. The staff was ok, not exceptionally friendly, just there! The rooms were clean, had hostal rooms and apartments available!

We booked this hostel based on a thumbs up review in Let's Go. The location and price are great but that's where it ends. Problems: The elevator is not for the claustrophobic, NO AC, really noisy, shower is clogged so you take a shower in your dirty water. It's also important to note that we checked in one hour early...

Stayed in Hostal Levante on 15-17 August. Our room was fine, cleaned everyday. Staff were wonderful at receiption, always polite. Asked for another pillow and we got one! Only down side, rather noisy. Especially from whoever was above us, moving futrniture at 2.a.m. People are amazing! First time ever I have had to buy sleeping tablets on holiday! Apart from...

The room was cute and clean enough, the colors were cheery and the coverlet on the bed had a great pattern and color scheme. The room opened up onto a circular interior and the windows that you could open would look out onto what looked to be a gangway plank for people to walk across to reach the hostel's lobby....

I have no problem with the location or rooms themselves. Although we did pay 60euros for 2 bed, with ensuite bath. No TV, no fridg. The staff, however; is terrible. Very rude. I don't care if the receptionist was unfriendly - but she was very, very rude. The response we got from just asking about the nearest internet cafe -...

Overall, this is a small simple hotel with a great location. Our room was pretty small and basic with no extras at all - just a wardrobe, 2 beds a table and a chair. The only window was a single balcony door - for one person only. The bathroom was also small and basic. If you're ok with no phone...

We turned up to the Hostel Levante and were greeted by a receptionist who spoke excellent English. The Hostel is on the 3rd floor of a building, about 100m off Las Ramblas. It is an excellent location, just far enough from the hustle and bustle to let you judge when to 'retire' for the night. We chose Hostel Levante because...

This hostal is nice + clean and very close to many tourist attractions. Right in the heart of the "old town" (the gotic quarter) and certainly in an area worth spending time in Barcelona. No air conditioning let the room down a bit because it was hard to leave any windows open with the outside noise. 24 hour reception was...
