My family and I just left after staying for three nights. Quite frankly this is one of the best hotel we stayed in Europe. The rooms were modern, clean, and noise free. Yvonne our housekeeper kept the room very clean and well stocked with toiletries. The location was very central to most touristy sites including the gothic quarters, beach and...

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room had a bit dark colours but bathroom was fresh, light and clean. Window could just be opened one inch, would have been nice to open it more. Problems were solved directly.

Across the street from the Citadel Park, a short walk to the Arc de Triumph and on the northeastern end of the El Born section of Barcelona this hotel is terrifically located for folks who like to walk and enjoy the sights. The front desk staff, particularly Javier, were very helpful as was Meuricio in the bar area. The room...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Once with my brother and once with my wife. I am pleased to say that the service is still great and we very much enjoyed sitting up on the roof terrace even though the weather was not too warm. My wife appreciated the blankets and heaters later at night...

Fantastic location right on the edge of the gothic quarter opposite the park. Roof top bar and pool were fabulous and larger than expected, and never had any trouble getting a seat or a sun lounger. Didn't eat up there until our last day then wished we'd done it earlier as it was excellent quality and value for money. Staff...

Location was very good. 2 minutes walk to the zoo. Bus 39 outside the hotel door. The staff was so lovely. We wanted to bring them home... :) Breakfast was ok, but if we stayed longer we would get tired of the same stuff all the time. Could have been more variation.

I had a great time at K + K. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean; not spacious but adequate. Internet speed was excellent. My son loved the pool especially it being on the top floor. Position of the hotel is very good. Not on a very busy street like La Rambla, but also a...

Very nice and clean hotel in the Born area close to restaurant district, parks and other touristic sites. One of the best breakfasts ever eaten. Nice pool area on the roof, but weather was a bit cold so we did not try it. Very helpful staff!

Fantastic location and a great hotel. Rooftop pool area is really good. Staff friendly and brilliant Tapas Bar recommended by them, it's called Pullperia or close to that anyway. It was beyond brilliant and local prices. This Hotel is a bit pricy, but worth it.

We are enjoying a great stay with two moms and three teenagers. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk to the Gothic quarter and several beautiful parks. We've been able to book dinner reservations and museum tickets at the front desk.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
