The room was disgusting, it smelled so bad and had bathrooms inside so it made the smell even worse. The atmosphere was not good, some of the guests were smoking weed all the time and some were just creepy. I would never stay here again.

The hostel is at a good location. However, the room was small for 16 people and the window was closed all the time. They charge extra (2€ per night) for blanket which is too thin and it was really cold at night. I would suggest that you take your own blanket if you can. Also, toilets and bathroom were small...

The place was great, really close to where you'd like to go out, right beside a Metro stop. I'm just marking it down one star because the floor boards were incredibly creaky and that can be a nuisance when people in the dorm have different sleeping times.

I stayed there for 4 nights. It was first time when being in 18people room I had so much privacy and space. Localization is very good, in the centre but not where crowds are. And the underground is like 50 meters away. I felt like it is not a party hostel, but maybe it is different during the season. I...

This place was very cheap and right in the middle of gothic Q where there's tons of stuff to do within walking distance. I didn't have to ride public transit once. The 14bed dorm is alright, you get privacy with dividers and curtains, but it smelled pretty weird. The staff were all chill and helpful

Location is definitely the highest asset of this place. Service is OK, Rooms are OK, quite spacious and offer a bit more privacy than usual with ability to hide behind the curtain. Common bathrooms are OK. There is a bit of common space, but nothing unusual. Obviously you pay for every possible feature you may need. Good value for price...

The hostel was large and spacious, beds were high and private. The bathroom in the room didn't have good insulation but it was there. The hostel in general was clean, friendly, and very helpful after I left I needed internet to find my next move and they let me back in to sit and use the internet because it was...

I had a horrible experience here. The first day of my stay I asked to purchase a lock and they were sold out so they told me where I could buy one and offered for me to put my luggage in the luggage room, which is a locked room right in front of the front desk and they hand the...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
