The H10 Marina Barcelona Hotel garners appreciation for its comfortable rooms and cleanliness, with housekeeping receiving frequent praise for maintaining a spotless environment. While some guests find the atmosphere and location lacking, others relish the closeness to the beach and the thoughtful touches like champagne upon arrival. Despite some reports of disparities in room amenities and service quality, many visitors commend the friendly staff. However, the hotel's value is debated, with concerns over extra charges, particularly for basic services and certain amenities.

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August and was blown away. The staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel has a beautiful, classy design. The rooms are a perfect size and spotless. The rooftop pool was a brilliant place to relax, tan and cool-down in the Barcelona sunshine. The location is brilliant too, beach, zoo, metro, cafes and bars are all a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked this 4* hotel via the British airways website. They recommended a package deal for flight and accommodation for a special price and we took the advantage.
And we couldn’t fault it in any way. We were welcomed by friendly staff even thought we arrived there in the very early hours of Saturday night and we found a bottle of cava in the room too. Very pleased with it since it was a short trip for my husband’s birthday so very appropriate.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. 10 min walk to the beach and Barcelona port and walking distance to city center. The room was clean and confortable and they provided us with lots of curtesy things like shower gel, dental kit, shaving kit, etc
5* services all over.
The restaurant was amazing. The food for both breakfast and dinner was a la carte and had a great variety and good value for money too. He staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating.
We recommend this with pleasure.

H10 Marina is very well located within walking distance to the beach and also to the metro which takes you into the main city area. The front desk staff are quite friendly and they were able to allow us to check in early, after taking an early morning flight with minimal notice (which was highly appreciated). However, I do believe for a large Spanish hotel chain such as H10, an investment in bell boys wouldn’t go a miss. The gym does require additional equipment however, mainly dumbbells which go above 10KG. I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant options as, for breakfast, there is only the option of having the buffet which I believe was approximately €14. Having only wanted to eat eggs, the restaurant were unable to let me have this and would charge €14 for whatever was consumed no matter how small it was. However, luckily there are some nice small restaurants where you can grab a coffee or sandwich. The bedroom linen is not changed daily but can be done upon request. The part which was slightly annoying is that, the housekeeping assistant comes to clean the room at approximately 10.30am (pretty early if you’re on vacation) and when requested to come back later, doesn’t. This then means that you need to call the reception later to get it done (a slight inconvenience). As you can read, I only have small little negatives. The room itself was a decent size and the hotel generally was quite nice (but maybe a bit too steep in price for the amount that was charged).

A great hotel 1 mile away from the main area of Barcelona. It was the first time we have stayed in a H10 and I couldn't ask for more or a better hotel. When we arrived we were offered welcome prosecco and a choice of sweets or nuts. We arrived 3 hours before check in and as our room was ready we could check in straight away and took our luggage straight to our room. The room was very spacious for 2 people and had a tv, robe, slippers and mini fridge. As well as the normal furniture and a kettle. The hotel has a bar which stock beer, spirits, wine and soft drinks which cost similar to the bars in Barcelona. The hotel also has a roof top bar and pool but it is only open in the summer. We stayed bed and breakfast and was spoilt for choice in the morning with continental options, cereals, cooked breakfast and yogurt. All the food was continually replenished throughout breakfast so it didn't matter what time you went for breakfast. There was juice, tea, coffee and cava available at breakfast if you wanted it. They also had a health section and gluten free pastries, cereals and bread available which is perfect for ceoliacs. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and they aimed to meet any request made by guests. The staff here are a credit to the hotel and I would happily stat here again when returning to Barcelona.

The hotel is nice with nice staff but I didn't enjoy the visit.
Barcelona is a hot city even in wintertime but the hotel turn off the air conditioning during winter months, this means that to cool the room you must open the window, the bin collection is made at 2am by the bin truck so because the window is open you will ne woken by this.
The room was smaller than I expected but was okay.
There is no tea or coffee facilities in the room at all, if you want this you request it from reception and have to pay extra, they bring a tray with a kettle, cups and some tea/coffee, there are only 2 little milks for all the drinks so you will need to request more or go to a supermarket.
The doors on the rooms dont have a seal around them so when closing its wood hitting wood and I was woken by banging doors numerous times over my two day stay.
With the noise from needing the window open and the banging doors sleep is constantly disturbed I was left feeling tired so my day of tourists activities was a struggle.
Breakfast was ok but nothing great stood out about it.

We stayed in the H10 Marina Barcelona for 3 nights from 5th to 8th of May 2022 before embarking on a cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary on 8th May. We had stayed in a standard room a few years ago in this same hotel and knew the hotel was excellent but this time we booked a Premier suite as it was a special celebration and we also felt that the extras that this provided made the booking better value for money overall. We were not disappointed:
I had emailed the hotel prior to arrival to tell them that it was our 30th anniversary and on arrival we had been gifted a bottle of Cava on ice, a fruit platter and chocolate covered strawberries. What a lovely special welcome!
Our suite was very modern with floor to ceiling windows giving us an excellent sea view. The bathroom had high quality products to use. The premier package provided us with "Premier" robes, slippers, pool towels, free access to the spa (Normally 16 Euros per use), free mini bar in the room (no spirits included) and access to a premier lounge. The lounge had free snacks available all day and a fridge stocked with beer, soft drinks and water. There was also Cava, white, rose and red wine available. It was a lovely extra treat to have these things included and available up to 10 pm.
From the moment we checked in the staff were brilliant. They were multilingual and very helpful, welcoming and friendly. I had a few house keeping requests on the first morning of our stay and all my requests were efficiently met by the time we returned to our room that same afternoon and continued throughout the stay without further reminders being necessary. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
The food in the hotel was tasty and varied with a very extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet on offer.
The public areas were beautifully decorated and modern and there was an amazing view from the rooftop pool.
During our stay we joined the "H10 club" (as we had stayed in this hotel a few years ago and expect to book H10 hotels un the future). The (free) H10 membership was completed by the next morning and as a result we had a free bottle of our wine with our excellent tasty dinner in the hotel restaurant the next evening and a free cocktail for any time during our stay. Again lovely little extra touches.
We would highly recommend this hotel. whilst it is located out of the centre, it is only a short walk to the marina/beach, to the underground station and to many local bars and restaurants.

Just returned from a 4 night stay in one of the junior suites! The room was lovely and spacious and the view was fantastic! The room was in need of some maintenance (EG broken laminate flooring) and the bathroom space had been compromised for the size of the living space, but it was big enough for the 2 of us.

The spa was lovely and much appreciated after walking miles and miles every day 😃. Hotel is in a good location, (30 min non stop walk) to La Rambla, it was a lovely walk through the streets and we would stop for refreshments at the local bars enroute.

Roof top pool was stunning, again with great views! The only disappointment was the bar on the roof was not open during the day or in the evening because it's winter months. However, as you walk through Barcelona you see lots of roof top bars still open and they looked amazing all lit up at night!

The junior suite came with privilege perks - one being a privilege room near the bar and you could help yourself to free drinks and snacks. There wasn't any background music or anything though so it was awkwardly silent ha! We ended up setting in the bar and paying for drinks instead (you're not allowed to take drinks out that room).

Good choices for breakfast but the "hot" options like eggs and beans were cold - the hot plate they were on was barely warm.

We found ALL staff to be friendly and offered great service.

Masks are mandatory in Barcelona in all indoor spaces and public transport, and mandatory means exactly that! We didn't see a single person not wearing one. We didn't mind this at all because you can see from the Covid cases in Spain compared to England, that masks are beneficial!

I brought my husband to Barcelona for his birthday. The hotel was very modern and clean, very easy to check in. Rooms were expected size but great having a bath and shower (over bath). Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English.

We only had breakfast at the hotel and their menu looked pricey for an evening meal, but they also did bar meals which were reasonably priced.

The hotel is close to the secondary harbour, the only thing I can say to describe it’s location. It is about a half hour walk from the main harbour where you’ll find the expensive super yachts!

There is a metro station close but we walked everywhere, even to the Barcelona football stadium and Olympic Park!

Our main criticism is that it’s advertised with a spa but you have to pay extra which I can’t remember reading at all, and if it was advertised in the BA blurb it can’t have been all that clear. Also the room didn’t have much in the way of drink / milk top ups, but again you had to pay an e tea 2.50 euros to have more than what was provided.

All in all a great hotel for our long weekend.

Despite being put on lockdown during our visit which meant we had to stay in the hotel because of Coronavirus, the hotel rooftop was the place to be where all the guests stayed and everybody brung their own drinks and snacks to chill out in the sunshine!
We stayed in the privileged junior suite which was spacious and provided us with snacks and drinks restock daily in the minibar which was really handy considering we were on lockdown.
We also had an amazing tray delivered to our room which had cava and fruit on our first night, this was an excellent addition to our visit.
The privilege Lounge also meant we had drinks and food provided when ever we wanted, this was really handy.
The hotels location is good however a 40 minute walk from the La Rambla, but the hotel do provide bikes and scooters for rental at a low cost.
There were also a range of restaurants and bars near to the hotel however they were closed because of lockdown so we didn’t get to experience them which is a shame.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient, they met every request they even let us check out of our room at a later time as our flight was not until the evening.
The spa was also fantastic and is brilliant addition to the hotel.
All in all a great weekend away had by all despite the situation will definitely be returning to a H10 hotel!!
Thank you so much H10 hotels!!😍

Booked this hotel after looking reading reviews decided to treat ourselves to premier rooms and upgraded. On arrival at 11am greeted by lovely receptionist whom stated room usually vacant from 3pm but she thinks there will be one available soon, which it was very nice surprise but no welcome drink which states you get, taken to our room which looked ok but for the money we paid was dissapointed, the cleaning wasn’t up to my standard wasn’t impressed needs updating marks on windows TV bedside cabinets, was spose to have cleaner in twice a day, but had to ring to report no one had touched my room the following day then after that I saw a cleaner come out my room at 5pm good job we was out all day. We was bed breakfast
Breakfast 1st morning all
Looks very presentable on hot plates on al three occasions the eggs bacon sausages beans all Luke warm not hot on first morning I complained no apology next morning Like warm again which I brought to reception attention when advising about the cleaning of my room, but nothing changed 3rd morning the same, so sham as I think they need to be che Keith the food more frequently and changing it over with new stock.
Spa was amazing
Area nothing round near by.
Beach only 0 mins walk once you get your bearings ramblers I’d say good 45min walk.
Premium room where you can get free drink snacks boring room to sit in, not sure why you have to stay in that room just have a tv with two English Chanel’s no music nothing boring room.

So anyone staying in this hotel I’d say don’t bother upgrading not worth the money.

Also when checking out I wasn’t asked if we enjoyed our stay nothing. Bids fill out a form from the restaurent which I handed in with my comments.

So I think it needs to up
On the cleaning side rooms need updating and premier needs to be looked into as not worth the money.

First time i have booked with H10 would I book again not this hotel
Any way.
