The good points , staff were courteous ,the hotel bar and restaurant were a pleasant environment. The position of the Hotel was OK , about 20mins walk to the beach and about the same in the opposite direction to La Sagrada Familia , ( a must see , but no real need for guide ) . A short walk will take you to the Hop-On , Touristic bus stop. Bad points , we were bed and breakfast and I thought the food was pretty awful . It was buffet style , which wasn’t an issue , however the food seemed cheap and poor quality in general , processed cold meats, sausage and bacon , and cheap concentrated fruit juices. But worse of all the hot items were at best luke warm even when arriving from kitchen, on each of our three days . The Gym ? I think the Hotel would be better advised , not to advertise a gym as not having a gym would be much less of an insult . This approximately 6x6 box room has one ancient pulley machine and a set of light dumbbells . The machine requires a bit of work just to figure out how to use it , although probably state of the art in the 70s you couldn’t vouch for its safety now . Also no drinking fountain in Gym , instead an open jug of warm water with a slice of lemon ? They also have a Spa , consists of a small pool , plunge pool , sauna and steam room . Looked nice in pictures but regard £36 for a couple to use is a bit greedy , considering two of you can spend a few hours in the beautiful Sagranda Cathedral for 20 quid more. We maybe used to more …
I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August and was blown away. The staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel has a beautiful, classy design. The rooms are a perfect size and spotless. The rooftop pool was a brilliant place to relax, tan and cool-down in the Barcelona sunshine. The location is brilliant too, beach, zoo, metro, cafes and bars are all a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for 3 nights during our city break in Barcelona. It is a short walk to the beach area and close to the metro which we used a lot. The hotel itself was a great place to stay, the rooms were extremely clean and well serviced. The breakfast was a real treat as there was something for everyone and the staff very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant one evening and again the staff were excellent along with the food. We wouldn’t hesitate in stay here again if we went to Barcelona again.
Pretty hotel nice clean rooms hotel was in a Good area but still a lot of walking but taxis were cheep enough ,mostly food and shopping around but 10 min walk to the marina and beach!! only down fall for me was the breakfast!!! It was terrible !!! the scrambled egg was very watery bacon was black literally !! and beans were cold ended up eating toast with a Small amount of beans on for 4 days but was other things ham cheese and cakes or fruit so was disappointed with that …spa was nice though and for €16 for 90 mins can’t go wrong I staff were nice over all a nice hotel just don’t expect to much area wise or breakfast wise
Really good stay in great hotel. Located out of city centre but within easy walking distance of the marina and beach. Short walk to metro station and even the city centre and most popular tourist areas can be reached on foot or metro if walking isn't for you. Rooms are very comfortable - recommend upgrade to the junior suite and all the extras that come with it. Restaurant is very good, excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
This was a really good hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. It was around a 15min walk to the beach or 10min walk to the nearest metro which was very useful to use to get to Las Ramblas. Breakfast was great, spa was lovely! All in all would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel. Clean and well equipped room with a huge bed. Hired a kettle for the 4 nights we were there for €4. Lots of works going on nearby so no lie in. Room was very cold at night- no instructions for air con in the room but we finally worked it out on the last night. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. We walked at least 8 miles daily. Not a problem at all as it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. Only disappointing aspect was our meal in hotel restaurant. Starter was lovely but then it went downhill. My rice and beef ragu was far too salty and I couldn’t eat it. Sent back. Dessert was crème brûlée…but it wasn’t! It was like runny tinned custard with a sugar topping. Very disappointing. Such a shame as we’d saved that as a treat for our last night, my birthday. Would go back though! Breakfast was fantastic!…
Beautiful hotel! Super clean, stunning rooms and lovely staff. Bar had great cocktails & staff were really friendly. 5 mins away from Bogatell metro & about 10 mins from Marina metro (marina seems to be the main one we used most). Always taxis outside (use app FREENOW if you find it easier booking). There’s a nice cafe also just outside but if you’re looking for something a bit more instagramable, Gabby’s Brunch is just down the road. All in all, defo recommend!
A lovely hotel with very friendly staff, plentiful breakfast and just a short walk from the marina. Some people have moaned about the heating, but if you're too hot open a window! The room was lovely, I travelled with my sister and had a twin room, cannot fault it. The only thing that spoiled our break was the rip off taxi to the airport, he took us to the totally wrong terminal which meant another taxi to the correct terminal, €60 in total! Would definitely recommend the hotel though.
The hotel is about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes taxi ride to Sagrada Famila. Surrounding streets not too nice, lots of graffitti and not too clean - I did not feel safe to walk around in the evenings. The hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful. Lots of choices in the breakfast buffet . There are taxis available all the time and quite cheap. Inside the hotel it is fine. Only challenge was the airconditioner that cannot be adjusted in the room, it is set at a hot 24 degrees which is too hot for sleeping - I did not get enough sleep during our stay. In the evenings, we can hear noisy people in the park which the hotel staff tried to sort out but that is the disadvantage of having a park around the hotel.
