My husband booked the stay as part of surprise weekend. I read the reviews during our taxi ride to the airport after we left (€39) and really not sure why the hotel has been getting such bad reviews. Our room was deluxe on 7th floor and it was adequate to our stay. Amenities were good, yes there was a street noise but it is a large city! We didn't have breakfast nor did we eat in the hotel so cannot comment. The hotel was quiet and so the bar was almost always empty. Staff on reception friendly and welcoming when we checked in and continued to be so each time we interacted. We didn't see any homeless hanging about and one night returned at 1am and didn't feel.unsave or saw any danger. Would we stay again? Yes.

Dear Madame, Thank you so much for such a good review!! I have to admit there was a camp of immigrants, but never ever caused any problem. It was evicted a week ago. We keep on working hard to improve our services despite the circumstances of Covid. Best regards.

Hotel's Favourite
From the moment you stepped in to the hotel - service with a smile, and a lovely glass of Cava once you had signed in! A very elegant hotel with beautiful public rooms and very nice seating areas. Stayed here as part of a British Airways City Break, and you could not wish for more. One afternoon, we ordered a pint and a coffee - it came with a cake and a glass of water to go with the coffee, and a dish of assorted nuts with the beer. The room - 306- overlooked the square and was so well equipped. Everything in the bathroom from hair and shower gel, to a comb and toothbrush kit. The room had lots of storage space and a huge bed - really lovely! All the staff were so friendly - thank you. The breakfast room - never seen one so well equipped. Continental breakfast, cooked breakfast, cereals, cakes, coffee machine, smoothies, 6 types of juice, and Cava! - Brilliant! The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Bogatell metro station on the yellow line, and a 10 minute walk to the sea front with the promenade lined by palm trees. To get to the hotel - Aerobus from the airport to Place de Cataluna then the metro. An excellent hotel! Thank you H10 Marina.

The hotel is clean with nice large rooms and a wonderful breakfast. It is a bit of a walk to the main part of town, we found it more comfortable to get the tube from the Bogatell station. The locality is mostly a modern residential area, the refugee camp next door is a bit of an eyesore but not a problem. Our first room was south facing and while the view was nice even in December the room gets warm and they don’t operate the AC in winter and it was noisy with the windows open so it was so warm we asked to be moved which they accommodated. The beds were a bit on the firm side in the first rom, better in the second. Linen and bedding nice quality. Staff very helpful.

I stayed for a week at this hotel and it honestly didn’t meet my expectations at all. The hotel per we is quite beautiful from the inside. Nice reception hall and nice bar. My room however was quite small and very poorly equipped. It was extremely hot in the room so I had to open the window as it got quite stuffy after a while. The bathroom was not nice at all and the shower / bathtub quite small. For taller people not really a good match. The service was okay, quite an very heterogenous picture. Some of the staff members were quite nice other extremely demotivated and unfriendly. I did get a weird vibe from the hotel overall. The location is ok as you can walk within 10 mins to Bogatell beach. If you however want to walk to the city center it will take a while. Breakfast was ok, but compared to the price paid not of good quality. Room service was a joke. I paid more than 25€ for a pizza and a salad that came out of the fridge and the salad was just some precooked veggies. One of the most disgusting foods I have ever tasted. In sum quite disappointed. Not planning coming to H10 BCN Marina again.

Looking for a well deserved break, with friendly staff and a caring hotel, DO NOT stay in this hotel. The ordasity and greed of this hotel to charge €12 per person for 90 minutes in their wonderfully advertised spa and heated pool is a disgrace. A family of 4 to swim for 90 minutes will cost you €48 euros, SHAME ON YOU H10 MARINA BARCELONA HOTEL. A nice walk outside the hotel take your camera and photograph the squatter camp next door. Take your own fan at this time of the year as the hotel is so greedy they turned off the air-con all around the property. If it was’nt for the bar staff Matt in particular, and the staff in the breakfast restaurant Trisha and Francisco, we would have left this hotel 2 days after our arrival. My work involves staying in hotels across Europe for approximately 100 days a year, this is by far my worst experience of hotel hospitality. WELL DONE H10 you fooled us on your glossy advertisement.

Dear Sir/Madame, I am sorry to read your review. More than 2.400 guests rated our hotel "very good" or "excellent", also the same week you wrote this review. I understand you are disappointed with our hotel, but some words does not help... Spa is suposed to be a relaxing area, all hotels charges a minimum of 18/20 € to be in the wellness area, 12 € per person for 3 swimming pools with different temperatures, steambath, hammam, jacuzzi and heating loungers is a good price. Unfortunately inmigration is a problem all over the world, even more in the cities with a nice weather. BY THE WAY, THE CAMP HAS BEEN ALREADY EVICTED. I am pleased to read you liked some of our staff. Kind regards
