Stayed here for two nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Excellent location, lovely room, good facilities, excellent breakfast with a good variety of food. Room was nicely decorated, tea and coffee making faculties were a welcome addition to the room. Bathroom was nice, clean and modern.

We had a fantastic stay at the Jazz Hotel and look forward to returning soon. The staff were extremely helpful and the location was excellent, literally 5mins from Las Ramblas, everything was within walking distance. The rooms were just as the description and the pictures on their official website were exactly how the room was which does not happen very...

Handy location: many of the iconic tourist sites are within 5-20 minutes walk, also good for public transport. Friendly efficient reception and staff. Our room was a good size, comfortable, clean, modern. Near a busy road, but traffic noise was largely blocked out by the double glazed windows so not a problem. Special feature is the roof terrace with views,...

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel from the 13th-15th of February in a superior room due to a deal on secret escapes. The hotel room itself was lovely, very big and spacious, and both the room and bathroom was very clean. The hotel was in the middle of the city, a brilliant location and the staff were very...

Very clean hotel that is close to all attractions. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel, we had a coffee and a pastry next door 3.50 Euro. Very clean room with everything you need. Cost of taxi to the airport 35 Euro for a 25 minute ride. There is a bus nearby if you wish.

The hotel is located nearby everything interesting in Barcelona: Rambla, Barri Gotic, Museums, shopping streets, port... easy to move around from there by bus and metro, easy to get there from the airport by bus/metro/ train. It's in a safe street, not immersed in the Barri Gotic - so beautiful during the day but a bit scarying in the night....

If you're visiting Barcelona, I highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Location is top-notch - Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya are both just a block away. The Universitat train station is 100 meters from the hotel. The Aerobus stops at the Universitat station so you can take that bus from the airport and just walk a few...

This is a fab hotel located in a central location within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and around the corner from La Rambla and the hop on hop off tourist buses. The hotel is modern and worthy of a 4* rating. The room was large, clean and had comfy beds. There is a lovely terrace with a...

Very well located. Close to Airport bus stop. Neat and clean. Would recommend this hotel anytime. Lovely roof top. The only reason I am giving 4 star instead of 5 is that I found the staff to be indifferent. I cut my finger and asked for a Band-aid at the reception, or the first aid kit, the person at the...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
