Small but clean room, not suitable for wheelchair users. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very limited, but sandwiches and yogurts were good. Location was on a side street, so no loud music in the evening. Close to both hop on hop off lines.

Hotel overall was good, clean rooms, good and helpful service but smell on the corridor was horrible. One morning we've woken up and that smell was even in our room. Our room was small but we didn't care about it as we wanted just good night sleep. Breakfast was ok, no smell in dining room. I will recommend this hotel...

Firstly, I'd like to say that the location of the hotel is fantastic, only a five minute walk from Plaza Cataluña and near most important places in Barcelona. But that was probably the only good thing about our stay. The room was extremely small and it looked out onto a patio not a street. It was ridiculously hot in the...

Very nice hotel, just few streets from plaza cataluña and 1 cross road from paseo de gracias. The hotel is very clean, without noise and with a reach breakfast. My room was spacious and the wifi connection great.

just stayed 2 nights. Room small but very well appointed and nice and clean. I missed a kettle but maybe that's just a British thing! I couldn't get a decent cup of tea in the whole city! The staff were pleasant, the breakfast was adequate if you don't mind cold bacon and sausage (good continental choices) and stayed open later...

We booked this hotel, with friends, about 2 months ago and got a very good deal with the price. We arrived on the night of 23 March at about 9.30pm. When we tried to check in there was a flurry of activity amongst the reception staff. We stood around for about 15 minutes and were then advised that the rooms...

Writing a hotel review for the first time ever simply because it's also first time ever we have walked out of a hotel to have a breakfast at the cafe across the street instead of the hotel breakfast we had paid for because there is no space. Come early and there's no space, come late and there's no food left....

I've read recent reviews of this hotel and to be honest I don't recognise the hotel that I've just spent 3 nights in. I had a nice room on the 2nd floor and whilst there was nothing to look at through the window it was a welcome change from hotels I've stayed in recently which overlooked main roads with lots...

We stayed here with my wife for 3nights. Remarks: - small and very noisy room. We listened to the renovation work and the lift all the time, and they could not give us another room. - NOT ENOUGH TABLES FOR BREAKFAST - you have to wait approx half an hour to get a table for the breakfast. Ridiculous for a...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
