We felt really at home at Soul Backpackers and would totally go back anytime! It's clean enough and has lots of places where you can hang out - including a big terrace, wonderfully painted in different shades of blue. Other than that, there is always someone in the reception and they will take so good care of you because everyone... More

I had a good time at this hostel although the room was rather a 10 bed dorm than a 6 as it had no door between the two room. Walkable distance from the main tourist places. The garden is awesome and it's a very good place to relax if you had enough of the busy city. Staff was so nice.... More

I spent six nights in one of the 12 bed dorm rooms. The general vibe of the hostel was chilled, quiet and comfortable. They have small common areas with comfortable couches and a huge terrace that gets plenty of sun during the day. The kitchen was large and well stocked with cooking utensils and they had an acoustic guitar in... More

Soul Backpackers was a great place to stay during my week in Barcelona! Great location; you could easily walk almost everywhere in the city centre. Friendly staff, cool fellow travelers. I felt like living in a shared flat in Barcelona, which by the way is an awesome city. Clean rooms, good showers, nice garden, wifi working, kitchen with enough space... More

Soul backpackers hostel is not a perfect hostel but the way people live together really makes up for it. It's a small hostel where you can make a lot of new friends from all over the world and everybody feels responsible for the hostel! The owners are young, energetic and were very nice and helpful! This is by far the... More

The hostel was really clean and everyone was really friendly. There is no way you won't enjoy your stay there. There is a kitchen where you can cook at any time and a dining room where you can make some friends from all over the world! We also loved the balcony; ideal for your breakfast. You can't have a shower... More

I was in BCN this September, and stayed at Soul Backpackers for three nights. The rooms are nice and comfortable and I met a lot of nice people in the common rooms. I especially liked that there was a kitchen as well as a huge terrace in the back, where you could eat, relax and hang up laundry. The best... More

The hostel is not really big but it has everything you need. It's also pretty close to the city centre. The staff were nice and friendly and the whole property is pretty clean. I would like to come back again on my next trip to Barcelona! Highly recommended!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
