This is the most memorable experience I have ever had at a hostel. Every night, if you wanted to go, there was a pub crawl taking place. Every bar you visit is packed with people just from Sant Jordi hostels (there are a couple in Barcelona). The rooms are clean, lockers were large with electronic locks, and we even had...

My friend and only stayed here for one night, but found the hostel very clean and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hostel put on optianl pub crawls and other activities but was not a loud 'party hostel'. We stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm which was fairly spacious, provided lockers (and keys) and...

This hostel is incredible. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Good atmosphere as the free dinners get everyone down and talking to eachother. The free dinners are simple but super tasty. One night is paella night which has a 5 euro charge. The paella was amazing and 5 euros for dinner is still great! Walking distance from everything. Big...

This was the first time I was going to stay at a hostel and Sant Jordi Gracia has made we want to do it over and over again. The place is centrally located, very well kept and is extremely convenient for tourists. The rooms are clean and they have plenty of activities organized for their guests.

Free dinners almost every night, free nights out to bars and clubs. The hostel was clean and had AC, rooftop terrace, washer/dryer and a welcoming environment. Great location near metro, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Staff was great!

I had a lot of fun at the Sant Jordi Gracia Hostel. It's in a quieter area with lots of good restaurants and an amazing bakery around the corner. Very close to the metro shop. Easy to walk to Sagrada Familia. The free dinners are amazing and I suggest taking advantage of them. I felt very welcome with the staff,...

Short & sweet: clean beds, modern, great staff. Right across the street from a grocery store in the middle of a shopping district. Pub crawls and all kinds of activities sponsored by the hostel. Would definitely stay again. This is a party hostel. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask if you want any rest!!

Stayed for 3 nights in August and was very impressed. The hostel is really clean and has a nice modern layout with big comfortable beds, lockers, shared kitchen and outdoor decking area. The surrounding Gracia area is really nice with tiny little streets, small restaurants and shops, it has a tucked away, local sort of feel that is hard to...

We ended up staying 2 weeks at sant jordi gracia after extending our stay twice. We had a fantastic experience at the hostel. The place is run in a super laid back and yet very professional fashion. The facilities are great: nice rooms with large lockers, good number showers, cool patios, well stocked kitchen, computers, TV with nice movie selection...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
