Our towels were not changed once. The breakfast was disgusting: stale bread and rotten fruit. When we rented bikes from the hostel we were given bikes with no brakes. When we approached the receptionist regarding this, she was extremely rude. We were charged €20 for...More
I really admired the forward-thinking philosophy that was at the root of this hostel - showers last for 17 seconds before you have to press the faucet again, lights turn off automatically after midnight, and lockers are electronically opened with your keycard. Everything is clean...More
It is a pretty new hostel. I would say its standards are more for a hotel than a hostel. In general, it is really good, but bedrooms are small and the entire building has drywall, which means that if someone is making noise during the...More
Went with Friends and was good for the few nights we stayed there. Quirky and all you need to explore such a great city as Barcelona.

Nice hostel. The deck had an amazing view of the Torre Agbar, which is unreal at night. Pub crawl was pretty tame though and needs some improvement. I wouldn't exactly say the location is super central either, but the facilities are decent enough.

The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of
activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
