Stayed at the Brustar Centric for four nights. Location was outstanding. 5 minutes walk from the Metro next to the Arc de Triamf so handy for anywhere in Barcelona via the Metro. Ronda Sant Pere is surrounded with your every need. From Tapas Bars , Cafe's, Restaurants, Market type shops and even a Bank minutes away. Staff were very friendly...

We liked out room, but it was lowly equipped. There was no mini fridge where to put some food or drink, walls were like paper and we had really loud neighbours and we didn't get any contact to reception because our room wasn't actually at the hotel and the phone didn't work. Room tho was clean and the cleaning lady...

BruStar Centric is located in an old building that is not well-maintained. It is pretty dingy looking when first walking in and then taking the ancient elevator to the second floor where the hotel check-in is. Hotel staff is pleasant and English-speaking though. My room was large, but sparsely furnished. The bath was retrofitted with a shower; but the rain...

I had booked for Brustar Gothic, the sister hotel over the road, and at first was a little put out that we would be staying at the Centric. I think if you book the larger room on Booking.com etc then you end up at the Centric. The Centric is situated on the second floor of a very old apartment building, historically...

I've stayed in a lot worse! The finishing touches have never been applied, I stayed in room 6, the plug socket for the TV is hanging from the wall, as is the toilet light fitting. The bed is propped up on 4 upturned bedside cabinets, and is very uncomfortable, I've had a better nights sleep in my car. On the...

was not clear that there is NO reception from 10pm till 10 am. You must have 2 codes to enter. The first for the gate on the road and the second for the doors to the rooms. Train underground shakes the hotel all night. Garbage for bottles below the hotel room used all night long. Constant bell ringing. Unfriendly reception....

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
