Soon after checking in, the front desk staff pulled out a map and showed us the locations of the best attractions. It was very helpful and appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We found the hotel to a little far from many of the hot spots. It was very cold which made the walk seem that much farther. Looking...

We stayed at this hotel mainly because it had family rooms (not that easy to come by!). The hotel is modern, bright and clean. It has a really nice layout, no spooky corridors and the rooms are good, nice bathroom and free WIFI. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. It is a little bit away from La...

I booked this hotel and because it's a four star I didn't feel there was any reason for concern BIG MISTAKE, first of all there are 4 steps down from the street into the reception area, if you have small children with prams/buggys or have a walking / back issues of any sort avoid!! Cause not only do staff not...

this hotel is a lovely 4 star hotel, it is on a main road however noise at nighttime was minimal, the location is not bad out of the centre but very easy to get around by using either buses or the metro. the staff were friendly and helpful, on arrival we received a map and city guide for Barcelona. the...

Stayed in Amister 4 nights and it was definitely a great experience and good price/value ratio deal. Rooms are very clean, service and personnel are excellent.

Nothing like in the pictures. The 11 euro breakfast is cold horrible with poor selection. Location isnt too bad but don't expect reception to give ya directions. They don't like humans. Very disappointed! Pay the extra 20 euro and stay at the grab Sofia where breakfast is included and the staff have blood throwing through there veins. Also if woken...

Good 4 star Hotel - Ramblas only 20 min. in walking distance. Free WIFI. Very clean. Next year I will stay again in Barcelona and will book this Hotel once more. Several Bars for getting breakfast nearby. Monjuic 15 min. walking distance. Barceloneta 30 min. walking distance - very nice and clean beaches.

The hotel room had dirty carpet so if you stay bring slippers, one bed was like a murphy style bed which was extremely uncomfortable, furniture was also stained, smelled like smoke, the best thing about the room was the bathroom which didn't seem like it belonged with the room. The staff was rude especially a man named Issac! We had...

This place is a good looking hotel overlooking a busy street, but I discovered the first night that it wasn't really in an ideal spot. My wife and I are both young, so we didn't mind the walking, but walking was a little inconvenient when it started raining. It was about 15 minutes to the Plaza Catalunya and 30 minutes...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
