We were two couples who stayed there for 4 nights in early May. The rooms are more than satisfactory for the price. Modern, clean, spacious enough, and ours had a small balcony. Bed was comfortable. Like others have noted, the walls are thin though, and...More
I stayed in the hotel for one night in May and was truly impressed having stayed in many hotels in Barcelona before (including 4 and 5 star hotels). It is a truly beautiful place with warm design features and unexpected and nice lobby; beautiful, stylish,...More
...and we certainly heard some interesting noises from next door!
This is not a big deal in my humble opinion but it's good to know in advance and you can pack ear plugs. I'd go further and say if you're an early riser this shouldn't...More
The Constanza is a nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious and quiet, in a quiet area close to the main areas of interest. It is easy to walk to places, and close to the Metro.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

It depends on the weather. We were there in October, and some nights it was open, but not when it rained. There is a pleasant bar attached to the hotel (next door), which we enjoyed when it was cold or rainy.

Check in for the hotel is at 3pm, BUT in the past I have called and asked if I could be notified when I can check in early or let me know if my room is ready so I can check in early. My recommendation is call them and ask. If the hotel is not extremely crowded then it should not be a problem. Sometimes it works out in your favor but that is no guarantee.
