Very good hotel, small but clean and location was wonderful, right at the center of Las Ramblas. Bit noisy at night do to bars around the area.. But for the most part I have no complaints.!!! I surely recommend this hotel for someone who doesn't like to walk to much to the hotel.. Is right in the heart of the...

This hotel is well located just off Las Ramblas. It was also good value. The room was basic but clean, with fresh towels every day. Bathroom was also basic but clean. It did exactly what we needed as it was far more important to us to have a good location and this hotel is really well placed just off Las...

I stayed 2 nights at this small hotel near La Rambla. It turns out to be a little hotel just a few steps from La Rambla and the Mercat de la Boqueria. Rooms are acceptable and very clean. It is a great value place to be in the middle of everything. I'd like to thank Carlos, they at the reception,...

This is a very cheap hotel with a great location, so don't expect great amenities. Generally speaking the room was clean and had some space for 4 persons, the walls are very thin so you have to watch out for the noise or the next room will complain. Overall it's a bargain for it's location and that is why i...

Stayed as family of four in Quadraple Room. Neat and comfortable Room with clean toilet. Excellent location. Daily market within 2 minutes walking distance where fresh produce (fruits/vegetables etc) come in every morning. Will stay gain whenever next in Barcelona. Lift accommodates only 3 persons at a time and is a manually operated lift but it is OK to ignore.

This is a budget hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to the train station, and city center is right there. The noise is an issue. I'm used to having noisy hotel rooms, but this was more then I had expected. I always take a white noise machine or fan with me and that helped. I would not recommend staying...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
