this is a great little two star budget hotel in a central location. The room was clean and bright and had a nice balcony with decent views and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of bars and some nice tapas restaurants around...More
I booked this hotel for me and my partner in September for our break in February. I booked through Easyjet. We arrived at the airport and walked right outside the door and boarded the waiting bus to Placa Catalunya. This costs 7 euro pp return....More
It's location was perfect, near the MACBA, near the gothic barri, las Ramblas and several other tourist attractions. At the corner, towards the ramblas, there is a tipical Barcelona bar where we had a nice breakfast every morning. The hotel people were nice, accomodating and...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Hello, I am not a hotel administrator, and I have no idea how much they charge for a taxi pick up. I travelled from Girona airport, and I can tell you a shuttle round trip ticket from Girona airport is about 21euro or so. You will come to the bus station (final stop) and it will take you a 2 minute walk to get to metro station which is 3 stops away from Universitat metro station which is in front of the hotel. There will be a shuttle from the airport at that hour, I also came late I remember. If metro is closed you may take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, it will cost you about 8 euro + tips. Enjoy your trip, Barcelona is so wonderful!
