4 night stay. Staff were excellent. Helpful and gave good advice. Lots of information in reception. Very clean hotel overall, including rooms and bathrooms. No facilities really, except free wifi (which works, but was a bit shonky at times). Noisy. No sound deadening. The last...More
Very clean room with a spotless bathroom, we had a balcony onlooking the road that was really nice! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a typical continental and well priced. A brilliant stay for those wanting to explore
The Hotel Marvi was a great option for us. We were able to take transit to Placa Catalunya and walk from there. Clean, simple, safe, all that you need. Beds are harder than we are used to, but they worked for the two days that...More
This hotel is in a great location. Across the road from the Metro and close to La Rambla, therefore easy to walk to many points of interest and through the old town, Gothic quarter. The rooms are clean and neat, although would seem in need...More
As mentioned on Trip advisor Great location, this hotel has nothing else going for it.
Felt like a dormitory or back at Uni in school rooms, if you want a bit of luxury, this is not for you.
Very basic hotel and for people on...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Hello, I am not a hotel administrator, and I have no idea how much they charge for a taxi pick up. I travelled from Girona airport, and I can tell you a shuttle round trip ticket from Girona airport is about 21euro or so. You will come to the bus station (final stop) and it will take you a 2 minute walk to get to metro station which is 3 stops away from Universitat metro station which is in front of the hotel. There will be a shuttle from the airport at that hour, I also came late I remember. If metro is closed you may take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, it will cost you about 8 euro + tips. Enjoy your trip, Barcelona is so wonderful!
