The hotel was in a very good location, right on a main street, and next to a metro station, close to Placa Catalunya and the centre of the city. The receptionists were very friendly and happy to help, giving us a map of the city to help us find our way around. The reception was 24 hours meaning you could...

Very good location, Metro stops almost outside the door, Aerobus from airport goes to the square next to the metro, 5 minute walk from Placa Catalunya and La Rambla. Receptionists were very helpful and nice, room smelt slightly of smoke when we first went in but cleared quickly. The Wifi was incredibly fast and completely free, everything was very clean,...

We were traveling by train. The hotel is close to bus , metro and train stations. Clean place with very friendly staff. Walk to rambla takes 5 min. Small bars are nearby, also places for breakfast. Pleasant stay, coming back.

Stayed in this Hotel in the beginning of June, it's absolutely fine for its 2 stars and perfectly located - very close to the old town and La Rambla. The room was clean and neat, TV and Air conditioner worked. The only thing why i did put 4 stars - our room had its windows to internal yard so no...

Travelled off peak so got it on a reasonable price....best part about it was it's location...close to all major clubs and bars...WiFi was great too..lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Great transport links too. A bus stop nearby direct from Airport. Wish I had a better window view though.

The beds were a bit hard and the street was noisy but it did not stop us from enjoying our stay. At night you can close the window and put the aircon on. It is a city centre after all! Would definitely come here again.

- wi-fi connection could be better - no AC - central location (close to bars/ clubs/ restaurants) - value for money - nice view from the balcony, a bit noisy if Barcelona wins :-) - helpful staff 24h a day

This is not a fancy hotel and installations are basic, but the people over there is very friendly and supportive and the breakfast is quite enough. Clean place and comfortable beds. If your plan is to visit the main city attractions and spend more time outside, then this is the right place. Close to metro Universidad which is also the...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
