I really love Casa Camper. I started staying here since 2004 and always stay there when I visit Barcelona. The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff is helpful beyond words. They offer an excellent breakfast and snacks throughout the day which makes for an easy travel experience. We like the corner suite because we can lounge around on our off hours and rest. Everything at Casa Camper always goes smoothly, no matter if you are there for business or pleasure.

Corner room, king size bed. Met the requirements for location & 4 stars. A bit concerned because the photos showed what appeared to be a dark (red walls) & smallish room. Room, location & service were all excellent - staff always pleasant & helpful. Our corner room had 3 balconies & sitting area. Breakfast choices were extensive; complimentary food & drink were available all day. Pleasant rooftop terrace with honor system bar. Would stay again.

The greeting at the front desk was wonderful. They were so enthusiastic, they loved their hotel. The gentleman that showed us though the hotel was the best. The staff at the front reception were warm, friendly, and very helpful!! He brought us to the breakfast room, and explained that they served snacks and such when it as open, morning and late afternoon. There was a refrigerator wall that had various drinks, soda, juices ect that were available when open. Breakfast was nice. They had a women making made to order eggs. Then up the elevator to our room and second room! Our bedroom space was large, with plenty of space. They had a bottle of water, slippers, a button, and bed that was comfortable. The shower was large and it had a separate water closet with a toilet. The room had lot of added features like hooks to hang towels, toiletries, sweatshirt, purse ect. Had a room safe. The sink area had room for all your toiletries to put out. Really appreciated all the hooks and counter space. Also they had a magnifying mirror connected to the mirror to put on makeup. They had Kleenex, which we have not found in Spain. The shower had 3 settings. Check out my pictures. The water pressure was great! The window in the room covered the sink wall. They had electronic shudders that you could open and close for light. The alley wall was lined with nice potted plants. It looked much nicer then pictures I saw. I was pleasantly surprised how nicely appointed they were. In the lobby, they had various newspapers. They had the New York Times I was able to take to read on the train! They had a books nook, in case you wanted to read a book downstairs. The bed was large and comfortable! The tables next to the bed were big enough to hold my phone, and watch and book. There were lot of shelves to put things. There was one electrical plug by each side of the bed. Luckily we have an outlet that has 3 USB plugs in one to charge all my things. Wifi was fine. The location is on a little street with little cars, mostly pedestrians. The area is crowded, lots of people, but felt close to restaurants, shops, ect. Very walkable. The hotel is very secure. You have to have a key to open the doors. There is staff there 24 hours. The front entrance is all windows, so it’s very safe. The desk also sells all the little extras they have in your room and cute hotel souvenirs. They stored our bags after we checked out because we had a few hours before our train left. They also arranged a car to pick us up the next day to take us to the train station. The car was a bit early, and made that stress free. I loved this hotel! Loved all the little details they took care of. Our bags were delivered hours before we got there. They brought them up to our room and neatly situated them inside our room. When we got there, we didn’t have to trudge them all up. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, but I recommend this hotel 100%.…

Excellent experience at this hotel. Customer service is excellent. The room was spacious and clean - living room across the hall was a treat. Bed was comfortable and linens very nice. Breakfast included with our room was very good, lots of items and good quality.

I do a lot of research before deciding on a hotel accommodation and the glowing reviews of Casa Camper are accurate. Firstly the staff is outstanding, better than we have had in more expensive, big name properties. You are immediately greeted at the door, provided a tour of the hotel, the amenities and shown to your room, where once again they take great effort to make sure you are well taken care of. We received an upgraded king room which was clean, modern and well appointed. Location, location, location just minutes away from La Rambla with easy access to shops, restaurants and transportation nearby. The breakfast was excellent and substantial and we appreciated the array of snacks available 24/7. We had an early morning flight out of Barcelona and they provided us with a breakfast box to take with us. The hotel was very secure, requiring a key card to access the inner door and there was always staff at the ready as you entered. The rooftop terrace with honor bar was icing on the cake. Top notch- don't stay anywhere else in Barcelona! …

We just finished our stay at casa camper. My girlfriend and I both really enjoyed it. We arrived on a Saturday after a long international flight from the US. Check in was very helpful and were able to get us into our room before check in time. The front desk person escorted us to our room and explained things. The room is comfortable and very functional. We loved having a copious amount of hooks to hang stuff on. The bed was very comfortable and the shower has excellent pressure and good hot water. Air conditioning in the room was exceptional. Everything was clean and in order. House keeping comes and cleans once a day and does a nightly turn down service. The room type that we rented had a “Bonus Room” it was across the hall from our normal room and contained a chair, a couch, a hammock and access to the balcony. This was a great place to relax and store luggage. The hotel has a cocktail bar with a very talented bartender in the basement. It also has an honor bar on the roof. We used the honor bar several times. It is a nice place to relax and have a few pre dinner drinks. It also has an ice maker with plenty of ice which is hard to find anywhere I have been in Europe. During the day the downstairs dining area has snacks and refreshments. This is nice if you just need a stack to keep you going until the late dinners. Also nice to have a Coke/coffee when you want. The have a large machine that you can fill water bottles with cold filtered water as well. All in all. I really enjoyed it. It’s well maintained and seems very well managed. This was an awesome hotel! We got a suite as I tend to get up earlier than my husband so I like having an area to read. My husband read in the hammock during our siestas late afternoon. Hot made to order breakfasts and all day yummy snacks are included - like salads, sandwiches, tiramisu, yogurt, etc. The employees are super nice. They even packed a morning basket with pastries since my husband had to leave on a super early flight to get back home and be ready for work on Monday.

What's not to like?? Comfortable rooms, great staff, complimentary food and drink after 12.30pm, the roof terrace, the rain shower on the roof, the location, great chef who cooks your breakfast to order. You absolutely get what you pay for here and we will definitely be saving up to return again!
